New Hooker Money Glitch - Discussion Thread

just woundering did they patch it becuz i made 5 dupes of my adder and only one well sell and the rest have no sell option in the LSC shop

FFS WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I'M DOING WRONG I WILL LOVE YOU LONG TYM

• Have car to be cloned.
• Buy 9 Elegys.
• Take car to be cloned and pick up a hooker.
• Park in a small gap etc and fire weapon to scare hooker. (Just curious: Why does she have to be scared, if you can use a mugger/friend etc?)
• Exit vehicle and shoot hooker dead.
• Re-enter vehicle and drive home.
• Switch hooker car with an Elegy.
• Enter hooker car, drive out of garage and drive back in.
• Switch hooker car with next Elegy.
• Repeat #8 and #9 until all Elegys are done.
• Drive hooker car out of garage and back in one last time.
• Take hooker car to LSC to make sale. <<< people on here say not to sell the first car, but I am UNABLE to sell any of the clones.

I even sold the original car and tried to sell a clone (thus de-spawning the hooker and ending the glitch). Once I found I was unable to do this, I took one of the clones and picked up a new hooker, repeated the glitch and this then allowed me to sell that car.

 

In other words, I can basically do the glitch to clone the car once and sell the original, but then I must find a new hooker to repeat the glitch with the clone. In terms of the regular game, it's still a serious money-maker but it's not even close to this glitch's potential.

 

Any clues?

did you buy your original legit from legacy motors sports or did you glitch it.

 

Won't work if you glitched your original adder off the streets.

 

First car was bought legit but by that point I was using a clone of a clone of a clone etc. That made no difference to the outcome though.

 

After my final attempt last night, I found that I was in fact able to sell all but one of the cars -- and the one that was unsellable was just one of the clones, not the original. The only significance I can think of is that it might have been the first/oldest clone I created...

 

A similar thing happened in the previous attempt when I only made two clones; I was able to sell one clone and the original but not the other clone. However I can't say for sure whether the unsellable was the oldest clone or not. I just took it to mean the glitch hadn't worked properly.

 

I know now though that just because one car is unsellable, it doesn't necessarily mean any of the others are.

 

The annoying part is that while I was realising the above, I tried the Pegasus vehicle method so now I'm unclear as to whether that made the difference.

I dreamt about glitching money. It was realistic as f*ck. I even duplicated my own car and there was this hooker in the passengers seat which looked exactly like my gf. When I came closer I realized it was actually my gf.

 

Then I woke up, all sweaty. Gf was still asleep and not dead.

 

And not a hooker.

Considering this update only added in a total of well under 2M in new items, that's not exactly groundbreaking numbers. This is actually the 3rd least expensive total update, Valentine's is second, and then Beach Bum. Every other update(Business, High Life, Hipster) added in more in terms of total cost of all combined items.

 

Also, since the Valentine's Day update was removed via The Business Update and the Independence Day update is only here until supposedly mid-July(Which we're officially at), one could assume we're on the verge of the next update, which would actually more or less prove exactly what I said. You spent the majority of the update period grinding up enough to buy what you wanted, pretty much just in time for the latest update.

 

Either way, 9 days for a bit less then 2M is absolutely terrible in terms of efficiency, which leads to my original point: You can't have fun AND be efficient in this game, it's one or the other and that's how R* wants it.

 

There was no grinding on my part. I played this game the way any person that doesn't have enough time to play the game does. Had I been grinding I'm pretty sure I would've had all the content from this update in four days or less.

 

The reason I did this experiment was to prove that a person can have fun(opinion) and not have to be 'efficient' and still get what they want.

 

I'll be honest, I had a lot of fun. Racing with dirty drivers, helping out level 15's on missions. Hell, I even tried a few death matches and was surprised at how decent I was (7th out of 10 isn't that bad in my opinion).

Before doing this, should I drive out and in one more time (the list still shows an Elegy as I haven't done this yet due to basically nobody including this step in their method).

 

If I did the final reset (exit and re-enter), and then I walked out of my garage, would the cars all become unsellable?

I keep the one with the hooker in, I've never sold it, it's the original and I use it for the next batch of adders I make.

 

The problem with selling them could be the fact that he never purchased the vehicle originally, but duped it or got it free using a glitch. Try purchasing an adder and upgrading it then try the glitch again. Worked for me.

Its NOT the original, remember you start moving it from spot one to spot two where the Elgyn was. Now spot two Is The Original . Sell the hooker car first EOD.

I know people are going to be shocked by me saying this, but I really miss the billionaire days. Back then I just played. If I wasn't testing a car or its modifications I was in a worthless Job that nobody played because it wasn't about pay-out, it was all about fun.

 

I totally knew those days were numbered. I knew they couldn't track it and would just put a band-aid on it. I even argued with people here, lying to myself that they wouldn't do it because they knew they were just guessing. I told myself, R* had character, but it was the day I learned that Cash Cards were all they cared about. I had to eat humble pie and admit that I was wrong. I swallowed some pride and did it.

 

When it was all said and done I lost the millions I had actually earned. I had purchased my Buzzard and Tank well before the glitch so when I went back to see 500,000, well I think you can fill in the blank. I finally got back to over $8 million and realized I wasn't spending anything on new cars or upgrades. I was just buying whatever the test guys said worked and back to caring about my win/loss and k/d stats. I tried nothing new and was simply saving. Everything cost money so playing a Job that drained cash wasn't in the cards anymore. GTA Online was a job again, not a game.

 

This isn't a hacking thing now. Nobody is doing anything the programming is saying they can't do. It's not like a thief stealing the fresh baked pie cooling on your window sill. This is like your million dollar car being parked in a tow away zone with the keys in the ignition with a sign left on the wiper that says, "steal me." I don't care how innocent you are, you would consider it. So I don't blame R* for an oversight and I don't blame the players that take advantage of it.

 

What I am afraid of is the R* track record. They aren't like cops that caught you in the car they left for you to walk into. No, those guys still require a trial and an impartial jury. No, if R* didn't want you to steal the car they burn down the neighborhood. What worries me is they haven't yet. I'm more afraid of the silence. I'm hoping, like I did before that they will treat this like any other glitch... they'll just fix the glitch.

 

It is feasible they'll just fix it. This isn't a hacker giving out million to 16 person lobby of innocents. With this glitch you have to put in the work and lets all be honest with ourselves that this isn't the first or the last time people will be duplicating cars to make cake. It's been happening since the game came out. This is just easier of course. So sure, I could be overreacting. I just know that the last time I didn't, I was wrong.

The forum might just have more people browsing than usual making it buggy. Strange though as it was't happening yesterday. Also on the edit part of your post. After you've finished duping take the car with the hooker in it straight to LSC. When you go in the hooker will disappear but the car will stay as an adder which is sellable.

 

After this you can sell the clones.

I never glitched for money and I have about 160k. I stayed away from free mode during the billionaire days so that was not fun to me, and Rockstar has been adding a lot of content so the game is better for me now than it has been in the past.

Im more concerned about these poor kids who feel like we're attacking R*

 

When all we're doing is having fun again.

 

You're all lumped into the same category regardless, because you're engaged in the same activity. Murdering in cold blood or in self defense is still murder, regardless of motive. If you get nerfed, banned or whatever punishment that may eventually get levied on anyone exploiting this exploit, do you think honestly that R*'s gonna care that you were just trying to "have fun" again?

 

Here's the funny part...R* already has their algorithms in place on SC that can determine whether or not earnings are made in a timely manner, and they've done plenty of banning of people who have been accused of or proven to have been "cheating the system". People make it so obvious it's plain stupid.

 

"Oh look, a new money glitch? Let me glitch in $20 Million in one night!" That exactly what 99% of people are doing right now, exploiting in ridiculous amounts that's naturally going to get found, flagged and eventually punished. They know what's going on by now, and their letting you do it so that when they do finally come down on you, you can give the puppy eyes all you want, just have a plan B for a while afterwards, and by plan B I mean another game you enjoy playing, cuz you'll be taking a vacation from LS for a while.

Hooker-mobile is NOT the original car. The original car is in the first space you cloned it to. In my case I start with the original in space #1 and I clone each space in order from #2 through to #10.

 

So my original car is in fact in space #2 -- hence I was unable to sell this last night and thought the whole thing had failed.

 

Now watch me get banned for posting all this.

without doubt there is a great vibe in online, lots of people playing and battling like there is no tomorrow!!!

 

 

last night i was part of a 2 hour non-stop battle, it was amazing!

 

i battle til i ran out of ammo in all my guns except the sniper rifle that had like 7,000 rounds. AP, MG, Rifle, Shutgun, Explosives, Minigun, Firework Launcher, all the ammo gone...

 

the ammunation guy was super happy tho!

 

From many of the posts in this thread, I can feel the genuine excitement and fun that people are having. Reminds me of the billionaire days. Unpredictable, electric, crazy times. I think I'm gonna spend some time in free-roam tonight and enjoy the excitement.

 

What this really says is that the baseline GTA0 game design ("playing the way it's meant to be played") is a boring fail, and the only time it really gets interesting and fun is when there is easy money around.

 

 

It's kids like this, who suddenly have access to money and cannot control themselves, that are the reason I've been avoiding free roam like the plague.

 

Glitching to get stuff you want and better the game for yourself? Go for it. Glitching to make it easier to grief other players? Truly a failure of parenting and pathetic.

Free-roam has always been the plague. It did not require easy money for me to get killed in every free-roam session just for driving down the street.

 

The extra activity with all the kids is just more of the same, but it's more interesting to watch. In the billionaire days, I used to go passive and find a niche near the action where I could not be run over, just to experience the sheer joy and exuberance of people truly having fun. Sometimes I would even join in. I may try it again. God bless the dead hookers.
