Gumball 3000 is a 3000 mile (4800km) rally on public roads for wealthy poeple in the UK. They were racing but yeah, unsafe to do that near sign poles & a crowd of people

"Rallying" (as in the subdivision of motorsport) and a road rally (as in an event) are two different things. The Gumball 3000 used to be called the "Gumball Rally" and is a road rally- the main similarities being multiple stages with checkpoints between them, and the differences being basically everything else.

I got a interesting question here. Will Chevrolet ever replace Holden in Australia?

 

I think they might since the Holden Manufacturing Plant in South Australia is closing down in 2017 and they are gonna manufacture cars otherseas and ship them to Australia. The other thing is Japanese cars are the biggest selling cars in Australia these days and that's why Ford & Holden sales keep getting lower & lower every year.

I'm diggin' the new F150. Looks really cool to me. But in my mind the truck you want is a new Ford Super Duty. Really the nicest looking truck on the market. If I had the money for an Audi Q7 or something like that I'd buy a loaded F250 Super Duty Platinum instead.

I'm looking to mate one of them to a 1UZ in a LS400, but i want to..

 

Keep the budget under $6k including the car, parts and labor if need be. R154's are pretty expensive, but if they are the absolute bees knees as i would expect, i guess my wallet will hate me later.

 

Finally, i'll be using it as a weekend warrior and as a occassional 4 doors, 3 whores drifter at local events. So reliability isn't high up there, but as long as i can at least have my giggles throughout next season and BY next season im gravy cakes! Thanks!

I know that, at the time i didn't have the actual codes for the transmission like the last 2 that i found on CL where they stated them first hand. I'm guessing you never drove any vehicle with either of these transmissions installed with the 5-speed variant?

Nevermind. Its a 4 occupant car so yes. I thought it was just some supercar

but they could've done better

Just for Lolz, heres some examples of cars with way less horsepower and go faster

Mclaren F1 (1995)- V12 engine, ~630 HP. Top speed of over 240mph

Saleen S7 (Twin turbo model 2005)- TT V8, 750, Top speed of almost 250 mph

Noble M600- V8, 650 HP, 225 MPH top speed

Well when you think about it, it's predecessor was this piece of crap:

So it kind of deserves all of the hype. And I really don't see how it's overrated. It's a quality car for a low price, what the f*ck? And that Z06 version does 0-60 in under 3 seconds and a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds, yet the pricing starts at $78000.
