Evos look good spoilerless, but Imprezas don't IMO.

I prefer the low spoilers on the Imprezas, but I do like the tall ones too, I think the design suit the cars shape pretty well.

With nothing there, it looks like it's missing a piece.

The day I've been dreading is here. I've officially listed my Saab as for sale =(

I like the park bench spoiler for the STI and EVO. It makes them look complete IMO. It's like having a new jeep wrangler without the spare tire.

Sorry for asking such a dumb question but is there any notable difference between American and Japanese cars in terms of maintenance? (Particularly in the 80's)

Is anybody else, here annoyed at the fact that the 2014 Ford Fusion has a noticeable similarity to the Aston Martin DB9 from the front-view? I honestly hate getting excited to see a nice Aston Martin [finally] ride by me, only to find out it's a Ford Fusion.

Tell me you can't see a difference.

The grille is really the most significant similarity.

If you can't tell that the bloated piece of sh*t lumbering towards you isn't an Aston Martin, you need to see the eye doctor.

But yeah, I agree it's stupid.

Hideous car.

Let's not forget the headlights and the hood.

Hood doesn't look very Aston Martin, too overly creased, and the headlights look like standard current Ford fare (Fiesta, Focus, etc.) or even somewhat closer to Evo X headlights.

I guess. I just learned that Ford owns Aston Martin so it's not like they're copying.

No, they don't.

They did at one point, but not for about 7 years now.

Try to keep up.

The NHTSA is recalling the Ferrari 458 because it's trunk is unescapable:

http://www.carthrottle.com/the-us-government-has-recalled-the-ferrari-458-because-its-boot-is-unescapable/

Believe it or not, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a branch of the US government, requires that car boots have a secondary release inside the luggage compartment, to make escape possible in the highly unlikely event someone gets stuck in there. It’s been discovered that the aforementioned latches in the Ferrari 458 Italia and Spider’s front luggage compartments don’t work all that well, prompting the NHTSA to recall the car.

The secondary latch for the front trunk storage compartment may not release when the vehicle is stationary. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 401, “Interior Trunk Release.”

Nothing wrong with the standards or the recall. Just shows consistency.

I wanna know if the 2015 wrx ground clearance at 4.9in, will definitely get me stuck during Canadian winters? Or will I just be able to plow through roads such as my neighbourhood street, highways and main roads are usually plowed.

How big is the 458s trunk?

Can an average human even fit inside?

Wouldn't be surprised if a small kid could.

Seeing a spoiler-less OG TT is a rare treat. Few people actually notice a difference.

The spoiler ...spoils the car's "is it coming or going?" shape. They should have added it from the start and made it retractable.

For wondering about the Ford Fusion/Mondeo (EU nameplate for this car), its getting more rounded out next gen with a noticeably longer boot. Also why in the hell doesn't the Mondeo Wagon sell in NA? Eh....

My least favorite car spotter:

He's the idiot who followed a covered up Huracan for 40 minutes and got mad when the driver reacted badly.

Is there a market anymore? Most of the Mondeo wagons (and the Mondeo in general) are basically sold as fleet cars.

I don't know who he is, but I hate people like that in general.

douchebags who think they own public roads just because they're willing to drive like assholes and put everyone else's life as risk.

stuff like this:

it's not impressive, or cool, or daring.

it's f*cking pathetically stupid.

I have to agree with you on the bloated part. I have no clue who the hell is on Ford's design team, but after 2012, most of their vehicles have looked absolutely ugly.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of their current design aesthetic, and they completely sh*t all over the Mustang.

Wagons here don't really sell here. People rather buy a crossover or suv over a wagon.

So I was getting picked up from my bustop which is near a convenience store and my mom was in the parking lot. I did the normal procedure; held the brake, put the car in reverse, backed up. Then, my mom was like "Okay stop stop stop". She said she real panicky so it made me nervous, so I automatically hit the accelerator and braked heavily.

So, I made it about 10 ft. before I had to switch spots again. Most embarrassing moment of my life.

It's because of the perception that they are all lame hippy family cars.

I love wagons :rol:

Not really Mondeos though..
