I don't really like it. The again Ferrari hasn't made a car I liked since the 458. Also I really doubt they are going to call it the Enzo, since there is already a car named that. rumours are going around that it is going to be called the F150. which is extremely stupid. Remember that time when Ford sued Ferrari for naming a F1 car that? You think they are going to let it slide on a street car?

Looks like crossover between new Viper (front) and Ferrari 458 Italia (back). Nothing special in my opinion.

I actually tought it was a Viper first...then i saw the ass and Ferrari badge. Ferrari keeps getting worse and worse at design IMO, stealing it from others now. To me, Ferrari stopped making great looking cars after the Maranello.

Sneakerhead.

I hope to see the Ferrari VS the new McLaren P1

It has like 800HP and a KERS (Don't know what that is) system that adds 100+HP, so about 900HP at 900kg? notify.gif

Personally the only modern Ferrari's that I really like are the 458 Italia & it's Spyder and F12 Berlinetta really. The FF isn't anything important imho and the California is okay.

I really love that F12 Berlinetta. It has a lot of critics(what modern car today doesn't) dozingoff.gif but that doesn't matter, it's awesome in my opinion.

I do like the F12berlinetta, but the FF is a far more interesting proposition IMO. Then again, I don't think I'd ever buy a modern Ferrari. They just don't really do it for me the same way other high performance marques do.

Going with a friend to pick this up next Friday. Around 230 rwhp and 2300 lbs. Should be super fun. Driving my friend turbo BP swapped MX-3 back (around 200 hp and 2400 lbs). Triple digit shenanigans will ensue on the way back.

So I locked my keys in my dads truck at school today. Called my brother but he couldn't get it with the slim jim, and lucky enough my dad found a spare at his house.

Is there any other way to open a door without damaging your car and not using a slim or no?

And is it true new cars won't lock if the keys still inside?

I really miss our 370z. sad.gif It was fun and special. We only saw one other 40th Anniversary variant in this city.

Not quite sure how the car could lock itself as the button to lock the car is located on the fob itself. In terms of automatic locking, in newer cars they don't automatically lock unless you exceed a certain speed.

I have driven away without actually having the key on me though but not quite sure how far you can go before the car stops as it flashes a warning and I've always gone back to get it off the keyrack.

Sometimes there have been people who have left there kids in the car with keys. The toddler presses the button and then can't get out and the driver/owner/parent can't get in/help their child. smile.gif

Yea cars lock themselves once you get to a certain speed but what I was saying is put it like this...

You park your car in the school lot. You turn the key off, you sip a coffee you lock your doors, using the door locks not the key button and get out. That is exactly what happened to me this morning. I heard new cars, the doors wont accually shut if the key is still inside the car.

Door locks? I don't really see how that is possible as the door locks are all operated by a button inside the car so it isn't really possible to lock yourself out as you have to have it unlocked to be able to get out of the car in the first place.

I'm actually thinking of trying this out on my BMW F02 and Merc W221. Just can't really think of a way to do so as it isn't really possible to lock the doors once you're out of the car without the fob.

The door is open while your getting out. You open the door, get out lock the door using the button on the inside and shut the door. I didn't think it was that uncommon? Maybe it's because the cars we drive are 15-30 years apart from eachother. dozingoff.gif

So I guess its true about newer cars then after all. Yea well in my dads 2001 Toyota Tacoma, with manual locks and windows, it's an easy mistake. I almost did it twice before when I ran out to the store.

I remember that happening once when I was young with my parents in their '94 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Luckily a local shopkeeper was nice enough to drive my Dad home to pick up the spare keys.

In my '99 Jeep Cherokee I can't lock the doors with the electric button if the key is in the ignition and the door is open. I always lock/unlock the doors with the key fob, though.

Car insurance up for renewal. 5 years NCB (as long as I don't crash in the next month).

I am getting £650 renewal, £570 on comparison sites on my 1.4 litre C2.

For fun I thought I'd try a Lexus IS200...£530 for a year. notify.gif

That's true, I think it may also be down to the superposition of NCB and car type: a few years ago I was getting ridiculous £3,000+ quotes for cars like the Lexus IS, Honda Accord and BMW 3-series. lol.gif

That's a shame, the front looks all melty (in a fire-damaged way) and the rear looks rather Kia Forte Koup.

Though I think the exhausts look better than the twin double oval ones on the last IS-F. Hopefully they're both real this time.

I like the front of it.

Tired of looking at cars with mouths.

Looks like it has a massive mouth to me. Same thing VW/Audi's been doing since the mid 2000's

Other than that, the whole thing looks a bit like a newer lancer to me. I'm pretty neutral to it.
