Oh I forgot, art can be any type of trash these days. You can splatter paint on a piece of paper and boom, you've got art.

Nonsense. As the last good looking car from Maranello, and one of the best sounding, the 355 is already a Classic.

 

The only "art" this twerp has expressed is his own moronic sense of... well nothing at all, aptly.

I always found it was kind of bland, I love the pop up headlights but the rest is, I don't know, average? They've done better stylistically.

 

Well, look at the symbolism. Its beauty thats torched. It is obviously an ironic take on how the shallow the human mind is on beauty. I think its a clever take.

I think it's just plain stupid. Maybe this is an overused argument, but people are starving and poor, but you buy a Ferrari 60,000+ and then burn it down? Seems like a careless waste, and imo some of the stupidest art I ever heard of. And I don't even really care for this Ferrari model.

 

As far as the looks of the car, it depends on people's opinions. Some think it's beautiful, some like you think it's average, others, think it's ugly or boring. I'd between average and boring, but I still think this is a moronic waste and even ruining arts definition more.

Exactly how I view everything they've done since.

 

The 355 is the last True Playboy's Ferrari. A car at home in the car park of Monte Carlo's Casino. The new ones? Too geeky, too fussy, not effortless enough in their style. Besides, they sound artificial, almost VTEC-ey.

 

Would this scene have worked if Famke drove a 430? Short answer: No it wouldn't.

Although I've never been a big fan of Ferraris, the F355 has been one of my favourites since I was a kid. Even now I still think it would be the most manageable to drive on a day-to-day basis owing to its size and commonality. Cheap and small, its basically a Chery QQ!

It's just the new name for the f30 coupe. Off hand, I like it more than the sedan but I'd have to see it in person to really tell. I thought the sedan looked alright til I seen it up close then it looked vile.

BMW should simplify their numbering system. Such as making even numbers 2-doors and odd numbers 4-doors. And as for the 6-series Gran Coupe, just rename it a 5-series Gran Coupe. It would make more sense that way.

 

For example, instead of having a 1-series sedan and a 1-series coupe, make them 1 & 2-series respectively. It goes in line with what they are doing with the 3 & 4-series.

That is what their doing though. The 1 series coupe is going to be renamed the 2 series, when ever the next gen coupe comes out. Though the since the Gran coupe as coupe in its name, it will still be a 6 series....

I only like the sedan version when it's the M-Sport Package and in blue. Now saw one of those in person and it looked superb.

So my parents went downtown and reportedly saw a new Rolls Royce. They said it was a convertible so I showed them the phantom drophead coupe and that's what they saw. $400,000 I think it is.

 

Edit: Had a dream about being in our old 370z. I starting to miss it. sad.gif

It's car buying season for me.

 

I've been DD'ing my Evo 6 for a few months now, but it's still a project car. It's untuned, gets horrible fuel economy, and just needs a ton of work to be just right. Unfortunately with me having to use it all the time, I can't really tear into it much. To solve this, I'm getting a new car to drive, and keep the Evo as a project.

 

A few months back I visited Monaco and drove a bone stock 500 all along the Riviera. It was pretty gutless on the straights, but a lot of fun in the bends. So a few days ago I test drive a 500 Abarth. First impressions were that it was a lot more cramped in than the Euro one, and I felt like I was sitting a lot higher up. Clutch pedal was too soft, brakes were too stiff, and the steering had no feeling to it. Complete disconnect I felt between the driver and the road. On top of that a $33k price tag put me off. I could get a bare bones one for $23, but it would still be underwhelming.

 

Now in a few days I'm checking out another car. If they wanted that much for a new 500, I want to see what that could get me in any other used car. It's a chrome orange Exige (like the one in Horizon) and it's only a 15 minute drive from me. If I can get a loan secured, I want to bring it home with me. I'll have a little review of it Wednesday night.

S1 or S2 Exige? The S1 is the better car in my view, hence why a good S1 still costs more than an S2.

They're certainly porkier. Over 2000 lbs for a US spec car even with whatever weight-reducing track-oriented option packages. Probably a bit heavier with supercharged models.

Starting to see 2011-2013 BMW's everywhere now, from 5 series(I actually see these the most), 6 series, and 7 series. It's a really nice sight though.

Nice. I've just now looked at the starting prices for the car and woo! It's not pretty, starting at 76,000 for the 640i without the extra options.

We've got some people with money in the neighborhood north of my school though. Lots of $300,000+ $400,000+ houses there(here, typical houses are around 130-60K here). So I've been seeing lots of nice cars there.
