Tenacious_Dude Posted January 1, 2003 Share Posted January 1, 2003 This is what happened: i did about 5 or 6 missons and i did 12% more of the game. i then went to skumhole shack to save and it said that i had cheats on my game and i shouldn't save. i hadn't used any chaets though. i had never saved at the skumhole shack before so i went to my mansion. it said the same thing there. i used cheats for fun with my friend then i decided to do some missions then i pressed load and loaded the game without cheats. i didn't use any cheats since then. do u think i should risk it and save (i have two files incase one screws up) on both files, risk it and save on one file then play on that all the time then, realize that there was a cheat and i have to go back to where i am (i'm only up to copland) and start again or risk it and make a new file which might corrupt my whole memory card or should i just not save and start all over again (i did stunt boat challenge, cannon fodder and about 4 other missions i can't remember, i bought two properties, did one street race (endurance that was hard) and put the caddy and the pizza boy into the garage which finished the list and gave me the sandking and i get $9000 a day now) i hate cheats edit-AAAAAHHH!!! OMFG. i decided to start again back at where i was without saving and then i decided to see if it would save without the message and it didn't! i must have already saved! i wouldn't have used ne spawn cheats-just weapons, armor and health. do they affect save games? i wanna get 100%. i suck at vice and i've been playing for weeks just to get where i am now. both my files are corrupted and they're all i've got. i don't wanna have to start again. please someone help me. tell me that health and armor and weapons don't corrupt files so i can't get 100% if no one looks at this for a while i'll have to start a new forum. sorry people Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Zottekop Posted January 1, 2003 Share Posted January 1, 2003 For some cheats Reloading a savefile isn't enough to de-activate it, then you'll have to reset your playstation.
