Yes. If you have seen crates or Ron has called about them, you are past beginner stage. If you have gotten a special crate before this event, try the glitch and see if it works.

Sorry. I was trying to get ReJeX and ask how do I do a Ron job or see a crate?

 

If you are on 360, I can help you tomorrow with a mission. You need a mission from Trevor to activate crates. Ron calls after the mission and talks about them.

A: I don't think they can tell the difference.

 

B: All's it takes to trigger it sometimes is switching characters... Dunno how anyone could be punished for that.

 

C: The most elaborate step involves deleting the update file, which R* suggests you do if encountering problems... Again, if they suggest something, dunno how they can punish someone for doing what they suggest.

It won't work if you haven't unlocked a special crate before. I'm in the same boat.

Don't understand much of this... What does "cosmetic reasons" mean? Are there parts in SP that aren't available in MP? Or, are they just cheaper in SP, so you don't have to spend MP money on them? The latter would just be another elaborate money glitch, in essence.

 

Bring in a car stock from SP to MP? I have no issues with that. Bring it in to sell, or mod it so that you don't have to pay for it, or the mods, that's just a roundabout way of money glitching, IMO.

 

 

 

 

Custom Paint jobs that cant be done through LSCustoms. NYankton Plate that cant be done in game. These are just 2 very good reasons that dont affect anyone.

 

Right, they don't affect anyone. But guess what happens when we want to get rid of a car we got with spmp? We sell it. Yep, not only did we get a fully modded car with freaky colors and cool yankton plate for free, we get some serious dough once we're bored with and want to replace it. Let's be honest about this sh*t.

 

Wasnt that patched? Even if not, are you losing money by someone not buying sharkcards?

I completely understand being upset about people using wall glitches or real modders using god mode but other than that if it doesnt affect your gameplay why get so worked up about it?

Um no sp mp cars cant be sold if they are high end. And even if they werent here is what I do.

 

Say my infernus for example

I paid 440k for it in mp and fully modded it. It didnt have the stock spoiler so I went to sp editor and put in body 255 for the wing. Then I got my custom purple and plate and brought it in fully modded. Technically I gained nothing more than a cosmetic advantage.

I got a special crate yesterday, and I just did this 6 times but it didn't work.

 

But it did work 3 times for the character I don't want it for. Sigh.

Yeah, the shirt is awesome. I love all of the easter eggs and references to past games. Really something fun to do in the new GTA games.

Okay, after trying for three days to get a special crate legitimately, I think it's time to try these methods... *sigh*

I finally got all 4 and the "Happiness is" T-Shirt. Took roughly 40+ tries.

 

For all who are only getting RP and stuff like that you probably haven't played the game as much and are missing key "prompts" or something. Keep trying though I almost gave up because the shirt for me was very hard to recive but I got it after trying and trying.

 

I don't think there's much hope for getting the last two, it's probably in the code.

I do it the second way (PS3) and it works. First I get a hat and then the shirt of GTAIV.

I thought it was confirmed they don't spawn in invite only sessions...

 

Then again, Rockstar is starting to seem like Bethesda with their programming of online.
