People who glitch the drops really annoy the crap out of me. R* needs to post on the newswire something like "if you enter a drop circle before the crate has been dropped the crate will never come. Stay away from the big green circles until they disappear and only the crate icon is showing." lol

fun fact, around patch 1.09-1.10 they claim to have fix an issue in which crates wont drop if a player entered the green zone.

 

crates worked from january til the valentine dlc was released.

If you walk out of your apt/garage and get that crate inbound message just leave. It's a glitched lobby, don't even waste time going out to the circle.

This was such a disaster. I'm glad the glitch came out so at least some people could get the hats.

They should have done the hats like the Hipster exclusives. If you play for a day, you unlock an item. Or made it the reward for actually doing something.

People can complain that I want it with no work all they want, this isn't work, this is just me flying around a lobbies for 8 hours hoping something pops up.

Modded console is what I have seen. In other words, you can't obtain it in game.

I mean, I'm glad it's just a beer hat and not something more substantial that I'm probably going to miss out on. But I really would have liked to wear one and go full on merican hillbilly for this event.

Anyone know when the other two beer hats will be released? I have the pisswater, the patriot, the supa wet, and the benedict with the two shirts.

 

For those who are stuck with the special crate before you can do the glitch, make sure you are flying in any sort of aircraft. It occurred the second lobby switch for me and i got the special with a hat just by being in a helicopter when you switch lobbies

Would doing an invite only lobby or a crew only lobby with the minimum 3-4 people also work to have the special crates spawn?

Hello Everyone frustated beacuse you can't get the hats and the t-shirt.

 

This is all my experience in PS3 of how I get all the hats (4) and t-shirt , first i have to tell you my situation mi male character is level 81 and is in the first space and i got a special drop like 5 months ago that i don't remenber how i did it but is some random that i find in a public full sesion and can't remenber more, then my second character is level 101 is a female in the 2nd space off course but with this one i hadn't get any special drop so now this character doesn't have this collwction hats and liberty shirt.

 

So what i did around ten times for to unlock the 4 hats and t-shirt issame thing as the second method explain first i change to my female character that hass all unlock and for me is the most important but cant get the hats until now, so when i am with the female y pause then go to gta online and look to leave gta online so take me to the single player then it load i quit the game and turn off the ps3, then turn on go to the single player then go to invite only sesion and is my female right there then i press pause and go to change character and take me to a little menu to pick up the male then chose it and by the time loads the game in the left down part of the screen apper in your box has "this hat..." so then you cheack it and the hat is right there the 3 firs times i got a different then i made the same by here to one mpre time change to my female character and go to single player all the character was empty in the head withou anything and last location to the last location outside the mask store.

 

by thre time i am looking to get thespecial droop for my female and hope that is the thing that i can't get the hats with her.

Couldn't get any of these method to work,all I get is rp. I got lucky and got 1 legit. I just want 1 for each character.I just spent 2 hour jumping session to session and every drop were glitch before I could even get there.
