GTAO Beer Hat Glitch

I can confirm the methods didnt work before but after collecting one special crate w the fcking belle tshirt it worked right away after that when i tired again and got my beer hat.. And im pretty sure ive never collected any crates before this beer hat hunt im so glad its over.. Got a pink one not even gona do it again.. I love it!!!

It makes since that not many people have got special crates. I think I got only about 6 or 7 in the past months but I'm surprised so many people haven't played Satellite communications. Or are most people still under lvl 60?

Most spammed RR and are lvl 200+. I doubt anyone will bother playing the missions once they have millions of cash/rp.

did the delete character trick and it worked perfectly. i now have a red beer hat. It gave me an excuse to get rid of a lvl 7 character i never use (except for storing cars to sell which i rarely do). I made sure to sell the 1 modded car he had for $60k and downgrade his 10 car apartment at weazel to the cheapest 2 car garage, so in addition to the beer hat, i now have another $200k+ in my bank. Granted i lost millions worth of pegasis vehicles on that character but they were all purchased with billionaire money anyway.

i just went and bought most of the limited stuff but chose 1 color for each of the masks instead of buying all of them. after gaining $200k, i'm back down to about where i was, lol. Still have about $17.87 mil though

 

looks like i also gained a t shirt that has the statue of liberty on it and says "Happiness Is....." on it.

just got mine legit crate drop, because i got two male characters and i tryed all methods for ps3 all day yesterday and nothing was working, than i finally did satellite communication mission and today just now a crate droped i and i got it, the patriot hat.

Anyone confirm ps3 method 2 works? I can't try method 1 because it would take forever with my sh*tty net speed. I did everything step from step and still no hat.

 

Does this have anything to do with the fact I have never had a secondary character before? My main is level 109 and the one I just created is level 3 as of now.

Using method 2 step by step, I am getting a small amount of rp each time but so far no hats or shirts, my secondary character is male and I've been trying for 2 days, it may require my secondary character be female :-/

How many beer hats Can you get from a single special crate? I saw the inventory after collecting my very first crate and got 3 of them. Is that normal?
