I dont know guys its startin to look like we been had . Im not sure what more I can do with this game . I have tried getting all golds , played to what I believe is a True 100%, I have visited/spawned all the Easter eggs I have heard about . I have tried many of my theories as well as many of yours . My file is at about 180 hours and i have probably put in triple that .

I dont wanna give up but as far as playing the game Im just about done . Im sure if I get any ideas I will test it out but im at a loss . Maybe one day when online is all fixed ill go for the platinum but i highly doubt it will make a differance .

R* is either laughing at us or regretting they made it so hard . Im leaning towards the first one .

I saw a bit about the reddit post that was deleted but didnt read the actual post. Is there any of these sites that save everything got a copy of it?

I dont know what I'm talking about here but in the past people have come up with copies of long deleted threads claiming they are from some sort of internet backup type thing. As i say im clueless on that but if we could read the post made on reddit we might find somthing interesting.

 

I do however suspect its a troll.

 

Now that R* can see no-one is finding the jetpack, flyable UFO or rideable dinosaur i cant see any reason not to simply say yes or no its worth it to keep searching.

I cant see anyone that doesn't currently own it refusing to buy it because theres none of the above but i can see thousands of people leaving the game because theres no more to see.

 

A simple no wouldn't change anything except stop people like us wasting our time.

A simple yes would be amazing as it means we've reason to keep going.

A simple yes or no doesn't affect online play.

The longer 'the mystery' goes on the lesser of a selling point it is because we've still found nothing in millions of posts around the world.

 

Im at the point of i dont give a crap. Ive got a ps4 sat there which wont even play the game so unless i get some incentive sooner rather than later ill simply pack the game up and go elsewhere for my kicks.

@ above. I feel the same and i think a lot of others do too just hold out giving up totally as we are anticipating news of the dlc soon. Be patient. They won't let us down as it's not in their interest to. Remember at the core of it all "WITHOUT US THERE IS NO GAME". lastly i believe if RS do decide to give any hints it will be when they decide to and i also don't think that would come until after all DLC's have been released at least.

 

Once the DLC lands and we do the continuation of the story via new missions who knows maybe we will then touch on the things we are looking for. Now that doesn't mean there is nothing left to find ingame now but it is a reason to hold out just a little bit longer before writing off the whole game. Hope it helps. :)

Ok so it could just be a texture... are we talking t01 and t02 tunnel here? I will find the files if i can and report back, you will have to give me some time to locate them and render some models or images.

And @drum... as said, he modded a race or deathmatch so it can be modded into any of those areas.

Since Ive seen you check models of buildings, can you find the house at camp dignity? It has interior rooms, you can look in a window and see out another.

 

How about Sisyphus theater? Partial interior can be seen from the window as well.

For the people saying there is no more to find...

If everything has been found (which i don't believe it has) then all the big easter eggs have been things that GTA San Andreas hunters were looking for but were not in the game? Am I right in saying this? (ufo's, ghost, bigfoot, serial killer...) And in GTAV they were so easily found by experienced hunters, wouldn't Rockstar do a little more than that? I know the game is set in San Andreas, but to spoon feed these things to players and not have something in there that is unique and cooler than just a pop culture reference just doesn't seem right imo.

 

I think I'll keep hunting...

It does look a bit glitchy or neglible however it does fall in line with the skull box inside packies head easter egg from IV http://youtu.be/Z0k65SDx0gA, and the blue "chip" is a shade of epsilon blue (maybe wishful thinking). He was abducted afterall lol!

Perhaps another job for the file guys in times of lesser leads to look into unless they can explain it offhand. Maybe you could have a look inside Packies head aswell & see if somethins cloggin his noggin this time around?

Alright, def the last one because I was just thinking... 2 secs

 

$500,000. On the official map included with with the game. Either:

 

There's something we don't know ( for those who've dismissed this, sonar docks cost $250,000 ) so this clue def ain't that

 

Or... Rockstar screwed the launch and some content isn't as it was supposed to be (relevant to those searching for half seen clues. If this is wrong, what else is inconsistently included in the game? Jetpack?)

 

Hope it's the first one. Anyway, even without that, I'm 99% sure there's at least one major surprise waiting to be found, whatever that that is.

 

Just don't be too obsessed about finding it (remember, it's a pretty awesome game in its own right despite any have they-haven't they Easter egg. If you've sped through to get to this point, might

 

be worth re-starting and admiring the scenery along the way)

 

(And running over some peds wearing kifflom robes in the space docker whilst simultaneously maintaining good karma)

I thought the 1807 thing had been solved. It ran for a lot of pages in the old thread and its been mentioned in this thread a few times as well. I seem to remember reading a perfectly reasonable explanation for it.

I was thinking about the 3 lines of the psych report and if it relates to the mural. If it does, then wouldn't that debunk the theory about having true 100% since you get the report before the missions that happen after the main story is completed?

 

 

Other than that, not much to add except that you don't have to be in the Altruist camp to see the plane that disappears. While I was hovering far out over the ocean trying to get a photo of the sun and the moon showing at the same time around 1 or 2 pm, I saw the plane appear and then it disappeared a few seconds later.

So am starting to think maybe the trophy system is the way to change the psych report. Not only can we replay to get better trophies but so too can we reply in order to make different choices.

 

1807? Someone posted an image of a building which has that address in the real world. The building is one we have seen in game, can't remember whether it was to steal a vehicle or ufo parts/letter scraps. I know i have seen it for sure. This could be a hint to find which ever of the above it was. This is only a theory however. Hope this helps.

 

Also @shoky. Don't get me wrong as i do like your enthusiasm but you would be better helping if you tried to catch up on posts you have missed. Granted it can be time consuming but it will help.

Guys, is it common to find a *secret* room? I've found a room that's in the maps but you cannot access into it even though it seems perfectly accessable by the map. and there is some sort of coverage where there is supposed to be the entrance/door

 

Location?

Ok you have to go into the tunnel you escaped the first heist, the one that goes down the metro and sewer.

 

You find some works in progress (am i right in english?) and in the minimap you see there's a room but the strange thing is that the map turns from the one under to the one at the street level and you're not able to see that room anymore...better explanation by photo

Thought maybe this could happen somewhere else with a different message. Very easy to miss.

I posted this before and somebody said it was Level of Detail models or LOD's, but it seems odd how close you have to be for the graffiti to show on the sign. And it doesn't just show up at a certain distance, it fades in as you get closer.

I know its off topic but i just wanted everyone to see how easy something that is related could be passed by and never noticed. Or maybe it is just game mechanics and I'm a moron. lol

 

It is game mechanics, due to me being a modder of games (mostly the GTA series) for many years now, I'll explain why the graffiti doesn't show - because it doesn't have a LOD, don't know what a LOD is? Here, I'll explain it to you:

 

The Graffiti doesn't show when far away because it doesn't have a LOD (because it's a seperate object from the billboard it self), and due to it not having a LOD, only when you're a certain distance close to it, it'll fade in to existence.

 

With a LOD it would simply (before it fades out) be replaced by a LOD which is basically just a lower quality model + texture of whatever the LOD is based on, but there's no need for Graffiti to have a LOD as it's not really needed, mostly because you don't see such graffiti (when it's on a highway wall, or any type of wall) as it's usually blocked by buildings and such before it loads in.

 

If you still don't have an idea on what a LOD is, here's an example of what it does:

As you can see - on the left is the original building (when it's not a LOD), all detailed and what not, and when you get a far distance away from it - it'll transform into a LOD (as on the right) which is just a plain box with a 2D texture applied - so it'll basically look the same from a distance.

 

LOD's are made to not take up the games resources - as if the original building (the highly detailed one) was always loaded and not replaced by a LOD, it would lag incredibly, but due to it just being a plain box, it stops that as it doesn't have as many polys and such.

 

Hopefully you and others understand.

Graffiti seems to imply they were scrawled on the sign, these are too neat and deliberate looking...

 

Yeah, I'd buy LOD if it was ONLY a distance issue, but there is more to this...

 

• The symbols ONLY show up between certain hours (I forget which, maybe 12 am -6am- but they disappear at around 6 am- literally fading before your eyes).

 

• One of the two is bold, the other is faded and the third sign has none.

 

• The distance at which they appear is midway across the street... 60-75 feet at most, not a couple of of hundred feet like most LOD pop up. I realize there is no scale reference, so this is just an approximation based on "apparent" scale.

 

•No other RON signs that I have found, bear these symbols.

 

Whether or not these symbols are related to the Easter Wild Goose Egg Chase or not, who knows... but the "visual pop up" is different than other LOD in the game and they are not just graffiti... maybe these are a clue or just a reference to some movie or game... but writing them off as just LOD might be slightly dismissive.

Not too sure if the psych report relates to the mural at all in anyway, but there is strong suspicion it may relate to the unwritten tract, as Psi is the missing verse in the tract and Psi is Dr. Friedlanders business logo (and alot of actual real pschiatric practices aswell).In fact im sure i read that Psychological study in ancient Greece is represented by the Psi symbol.

So...does anyone have any crazy theories how to apply their psych report to the tract in anyway? Crazy theories better than no theories...

Whatever this is, id encourage hunters who know how to do this glitch to go and check this out, possibly take pictures of it, it is strange. Regardless of the video quality , I think its clear to say it does not say "segregate & rearrange" on this anomaly anywhere and these guys have had laughable videos before, but I would be interested to go and see this rotating "shape" myself.

Segregate & rearrange is written on the FortZancudo UFO IIRC, nothing to do with the space docker, the same guy who made this video also tells lies about people talking about the jetpack on his space docker radio etc. it seems to me like he is implying that "segregate & rearrange" is written on this rotating shape somewhere , to convince people its another UFO, regardless of the video quality i cant see any smudges of text that could say that just the flashing orange ball in the middle.

The reason I ask is that I was in a mission at night about halfway through the game when vehicles ahead of me started to act manic and I'm sure I saw a green light in the sky but as I was in a mission I didn't explore further. At the time I wasn't aware of whole chilliad mystery so didn't make more of a mental note. I think the location was near the desert, possibly around high chaparral. I think it was a Trevor mission - Minit men?

Has anybody thought of this theory? Maybe on the mural the lines are paths to the reward based on how you played the game so let's say like all of us we get the straight line to the top of chiliad UFO etc. But none of us has made the right path leading to the bottom ufo or jet pack or both?

I think it may have been a random mission? i experienced the same alien abduction scene but very early in the game. Was below Mt Gordo as i was following a vehicle along the road to the lighthouse, & a light came down from the sky, ufo flew over, the car veered off the road & the beam was right over it. Cant give more info as i was too busy trying to get the hell out of there incase it came after me lol & was well before i knew of the chiliad mystery. Cant give any more info than that as it was so long ago & i had forgotten about til it was mentioned here.

Was me guys. I saw the ufo abduct someone from a car. Have others seen this too now? Haha i was going nuts when it happened. Although before i said it was in grapeseed as that was the only place i could find a T junction how i remembered. Until today that is! Earlier i found the exact spot today. It was Sandy Shores, drive past the red triathlon blow up it will be on your rightside. Then just after is the T junction.

It was Trevor's ground trafficing mission.

People are interested now lol. I joined this site just to share it. Oh the irony.

I saw the same thing myself. Just didnt have any real proof or knew exactly if it was during a mission & such that i was doing at the time to back you up. was way before i knew about this mystery :(

Since finding the exact spot of the ufo abduction earlier today it struck me how close it is to the location of the SS UFO. When it happened i got a very clear and close view of it and it did look very similar to the SS one with same lights and shape etc.

Do you have a map location for that place? i was sure i was heading around Mt Gordo when i saw it? might help jog my memory :)

edited: also i believe it was the same type of ufo. If the michael monkey abduction scene had the same one? then it was the same.

I thought i was doing a random mission? but so long ago i cant be sure :( 2nd play through i didnt see it? cant think of any reason why i would have been round Mt Gordo back then tho? hope i can remember some more helpful info if i can see the place. But TrevorsStinkyFingers original post mentioned Mt Gordo i think? & thats what made me remember it. Couldnt back up any findings on something i barely could remember happening myself so hoped id see more posts from others, but was never fully investigated & i had no lead to follow to try.

So at the SS camp you know how the car with the UFO could be a replica of a Space Docker and then the red arrow is pointing at another spot below it. Well if you follow the red arrow in a copter it leads to the garage where the Docker is found. I'm thinking the dot that the arrow is pointing at is a place not too far from there. Haven't seen anything specific yet but I just noticed this.

No sir, this is the texture for the UFO that's above. Every place with a UFO has it's texture stored below the level, Chiliad included. I'm more curious why this UFO has multiple different spinning polygons below it though, whereas Chiliad only has two textured poly's below it.

This is bugging me, i keep thinking the SpaceDocker needs to be "charged up" by the plug in the front of it.. This has probably been mentioned before, but haven't seen it :p

I think the black square inside Trevor could just mean the all seeing eye tattoo is tattooed on Trevor.

 

Also I think Trevor COULD have something to do with this mystery. Yes you have the option to kill him meaning you would not get a certain part or any of the "reward" and that would lead to someone replaying the game to get the reward.

Trevor is someone who can be killed. Some players wont have Trevor.

 

Its not how we play the game etc could be a loose tie in.

 

 

FYI space docking would not use a plug or a male to female insertion. Space docking is much darker than that ;)

Maybe you have to dock the front of one spacedocker to another or he back of some sort of vehicle ;) But the thing is what vehicle or maybe a port?

I've wondered about the thing in the front of the Space Docker before as well, but I wouldn't know what you would insert it into.

And with the chips maybe the FIB planted them so they keep track or maybe michael and trevor have been abducted and the aliens put a chip in there head as test subjects. Maybe this might continue in future dlc.
