I've just started a quest for the white dots on the other thread.

Afaik some are spawning on different places than before.

 

This is one of the reasons why I created the new thread, things are kinda different.

Though I absolutely agree that the basics (mainly the Mural) remain the same, some stuff were definitely redone (best example being the box behind the Mural that is at the new game but to no avail at the old game), hence why I named the new thread Hunting for Secrets on PS4/XBONE.

 

Not trying to start a fight, at all, just saying.

Whatever the poll's outcome will be, I'll surely respect it and keep on contributing on both hunts :)

No thats fine eram :-) im mixing not trying to spoil too much for n.g. with what we know and intend to do maybe. I may indeed need to refer to yourself + others.

P.s. Wont be ready today. Want to do a proper/scientific approach ie the facts without the glare lol

Theres been a thought cross gen that it might possible the areas you enter that you gain a wanted level might have to be cleared/attacked in order (or not?) with potentially Ft.Z being the final one? Could it be possible to take the entire map, effectively....?

Its something iv been thinking about literally last few days and then the n.g. lot posted something similar....might be worth a look though. Connecting things/possibilities is all i can say tbh Ryan...

OT. probably me but the Vinewood hills radio transmiter station and its different satelite dishes are bothering me...

Couple of my random ideas and sightings....

Maybe listen to the space radio station whilst driving the moon buggy near the UFOs or satellite dishes ??

Was playing earlier and went to a lone building. There was 3 guys in blue and black suits. I killed one and the others pulled out pistols and started trying to kill me. Also the building they was outside was really worn and uninteresting however it had two security cameras on it which is quite strange....

The numerous CCTV cameras throughout the game have really annoyed me for some reason. Every time I see one I think there must be someone watching me (fictionally of course) and that this is a place we cannot find in the game and must somehow be crucial to the mystery. They seem to be in all the most intriguing parts of the map too.

Last year we were gonna set the map up into a grid and active 100 percenters were gonna search a section

 

Also those who have hacked the files anyway of checking a cutscene involving particular character models

We are defo on the same page bro ive been thinking of the same transmitter as well ive even been tryin to line up the lines on the mural with the downtown vinewood steets with the idea that the transmitter is the top of the mural as some of the lines on the mural make a sort of L shaped box and i can even see those shapes in the street on map view i need to try and overlay it somehow Edited by caudy

Yeah it is good thinking, particularly with a lot of the mural focus aimed at the symbols. The way it is gridded out does indeed look like a street map, the mini X symbols could be clues or trigger points located physically in the map, and perhaps the way the pattern is on the mural indicates that you choose a particular path to get to 1 of 3 possible 'prizes' (i.e. the UFO, Easter Egg & Jetpack). Perhaps the Mt Chiliad UFO at the top signifies that it is the first stage of this process, because obviously it's stated you need to come back to it when your story is complete and you have 100%.

Want to share 1 weird spot thats caught my attention before. On the southern chiliad side, towards the peak near the shed, along a near-vertical face, there is a red blob that sort of looks like an X or circle. But when you fly, zoom or walk closer to it, it disappears. Its easier to find it in creator mode.

Am currently working on a revised post (have a touch of flu tho, so bare with me). However the above ideas of Caudy and Ryans variant (plus another variant i have in mind) should be looked at.

Il be i.g. ASAP and will myself move up the map from the SEastern Tatviam mountains corner. Am convinced they cant be as barren as first thought. Maybe not as simple as just being in correct position, but might involve doubling back on oneself i would recommend. Also grid and figure 8 search patterns.

@Volkxue, im sure i heard something similar before but it wasnt same guy...

Artefact Would imply an device/'box'/egg maybe? Not suggestive of a u.f.o. IMO. Could this line of conversation be reversed to fit location/organisation somewhere on map? I was looking at the position of the churches earlier....

So im reading now (for 1st time) how the space docker headlights have picked up 'dinosaur' footprints outside a shop? (Can of dope mentioned). I personally would have thought this would have been looked at but gents, take nothing for granted. Im not aware what shop. On Old gen.

The foot prints were outside the diner where the big dinosaur is. I never saw pictures of this but saw people talking about it...

We cannot crack this though until everything in the hippy model has been located and placed in game. Some things i haven't touched apon yet are the White alien faces. What are they in game? we can find them by using the other locations as markers to pin point the location of these faces.

If i am to hazard a guess i would say that the faces could well relate to some of the White rocks in game. Another thing i will be checking shortly...

Long time hunter, First time poster. But im currently up to date with all the popular theories out there and even some of the ones people would refer to as a Brian Theory lol . I will say the only idea he had of merit imo was the Karma theory and i only thought this after playing thru the whole game on OG and left feeling a lil empty/unfullfilled. But im a believer in the Mt.Chiliad mystery and there being something more to the end game easter eggs then just UFO's you can merely see but do nothing at all too or with. Im not going to get into what i personal beleive but i am going to post something that may help people see the kind of mind set we may need to figure this out on Xbx1/PS3, it may be there on OG but all i know is im searching for it on Xbx1. But anyways i digress, this was recently found on BF4 on the next gens and it just amzed me how they needed 4 people, each with a certain dogtags(each of the 4 pple had a different dogtags equip to make this work) to make a elevator work in order to get this bow ...i wont go into it here but it has alot of simulaities to the GTA 5 as in the elevator, the multi pple needed to enable the egg and they each had certain items equiped as well. these can be ideas to use going forward when trying or testing new theories and putting to bed the more brain crazy one out there in GTA 5. In order to unlock the Phantom as well as the Phantom Operative assignment, the player will have to access the "Phantom room" on Hangar 21. In order to do this, the player must be a Premium member and have completed all previous Phantom assignments.

Once these are fulfilled, the player and three other players must then equip the Phantom camouflage on their soldiers and weapons, along with the Phantom dog tag and one of the secret four Final Stand dog tags from each map (each participating player must be wearing a different Final Stand dogtag).

This will allow the players to activate the elevator on Hangar 21 that will take them to the "Phantom room." The elevator is a deactivated lift at the back of the map above the access tunnel where the jeep spawns. Once located, the players must enter the elevator to power it up. If any of the players do not meet the aforementioned requirements, all players in the elevator will be instantly killed in action.

The forcefield and keypad

If the players are successful and the elevator activates, it will then transport the group to the entrance of the "Phantom room." Here, a forcefield is in-place that restricts access to the bow, which is floating in the middle of the room. To disable it, the players must enter the following code into the keypad to right of the forcefield: 1290 429 397648 970. This will disable it, and the players will be able to enter the room and take the Phantom, which will unlock the bow for each player that picks it up.

To unlock the Phantom Operative assignment, the player will have to find a locker within the Phantom room with a stack of papers on top in the back of the room. Climbing onto the file cabinet next to it will allow the player to get on top of the locker and interact with the papers, which then unlock the assignment.

@Soule, iv heard of the Bf4 thing before and the similarities Are interesting. Thanks for post. I wasnt aware of details personally. Dont worry about past pseudo prophets, we're here for evidence and facts towards this excellent Unsolved mystery.

I dont think it was investigated fully, i mean a google search and i cant see any pictures of glowing foot prints or the space docker there. Seams a bit odd if it was searched well.

 

Anyone seen these foot prints glowing? In game or pictures?

@Jphunter0 agreed with thee evidence and facts part 100%, only reason why i would give the karma theory merit is because we havent figured out anything more in reguards to end game content like the UFO, nothing happens at Military Base at all during the game, the chrarcters storys are not resovled or dont have a meanfuling ending imo,etc,etc. Im not saying playing GTA 5 like a angel will get u anything but i think making right decisions on key points and having certain npc's still alive at end game may be triggers to unlock more end game content. I think playing the game agian on next gen with a different mindset as your playing may help us realize stuff we may have blow by due to gold requirements for time.(there was alot of hidden convo with T and Lamar on a mission if u drive for a bit but alot of pple missed it cus of the gold requirement on time)

True,true dude. Iv mentioned myself extending the karma system even into How people drive (stopping at reds etc). Its a logical idea.

 

I felt unhappy about the ending also...SO wanted more (i very much identify with Michael tbh),one hopes for dlc.

@Mtbb47, maybe this is why all the protags had the SD replenished back to their garages in OG update?....

Maybe, if i get on in a few hours, ill definitely check it myself, also the yellow path at the hippy camp, and the altruist camp too just cause. I never took it to any of these spots after everybody said they had tried everything with it but im starting to wonder if maybe people were just regurgitating other peoples info and claiming they did it and nothing happened.

We Have to double check...i mean, dont expect results straight away...could take a few weeks but seeing as viable results (i.e. Diner footprints) have been found before, id find it odd if there Werent others....

Around Ft.z, the quarry, kortz centre, bishops Wtf, humane labs.......

I have a theory for the MC Mural (Sorry if this is a thing....)

 

The Boxed UFO = The Hippy Camp UFO (Hippy Camp features a car with a UFO on it)

 

The Boxed Egg = PB Underwater UFO (PB has a large Chicken factory)

 

The Boxed Jetpack = FZ UFO (FZ is commonly associated with Area 69, another GTA Military base WITH a Jetpack)

 

UFO/Eye on top of the Mountain = MC UFO (Duh)

 

The FIVE Red X's = The FIVE things needed for 100% (Required for every UFO except the Underwater)

 

I am not saying this is right, hell this is one of my friend's theories we made up together, but it sorta fits (The PB UFO kinda throws off the whole vibe), anyway, sorry if this has already been said before.....
