@Nick, a mix of positions, locations, moon phases, weather,etc has been mentioned. Check out page 1. I know that sounds simplimatic but its updated and holds a bulk of the info. Good post fran, good memory! :-D

It is the same tunnel - I was already inside the tunnel and managed to get above it.

Just a thought but about the alterist camp guy by the stone that keeps re spawning & appears to be looking at something. Could he be looking at the place where Thelma & lew drive off the cliff ???.

Helps to look at the big post i did on Page 87, halfway up. Its a collection of a majority of hunters current modes of thinking. Its Not a complete list though. Googles a great tool for Gta.

I am almost certain there are more UFOs to find. I'd put money on there being one at the Altruist camp, at 3pm, when the weather is sunny. The grafitti doesn't lie...

Yes Polaris,theres a Jetpack. Theres virtualy Every other vehicle type from the previous games in Gta V. Why wouldnt there be? The question is, is it part of another mystery they have created? Obviously its not easily accessible, yet there is an element of mystery, which has a Mural, which depicts a jetpack. I Dont think R* would deprive gamers of that.

Except for the mysterious mural with no in game explanation.

 

Whether or not we have solved the mural mystery should be the question.

Just because no in game explanation is present, doesnt mean its not there Jp. We just havnt found it. I know it is there still.

@wwesuperfan: This thread is called "The Mystery Topic" because it's for hunters dedicated to looking for and deciphering things in GTA V that are "mystery' related. Why would you post here if you don't think there is a mystery? You don't see us in WWE threads posting our opinions about wrestling being real. This obviously isn't the thread you are looking for, and you posting in it is about as useless as tits on a nun.

 

Mods: Is there anyway we can make a thread rule to try to deter people from posting here just to tell us there is no mystery?

The forums are for opinions. This forum, however, is about the mystery. You came to the mystery thread to tell us there is no mystery. It is just an a$$hole thing to do.

So whether there is or isn't a mystery isn't something debatable here. You're more than welcome to start your own "There Is No GTA V Mystery" thread and I promise not to post there seeing that it's off topic and counterproductive.

Guys (and Gals if there are any), Just a wee note. There could potentially be a swarm of new hunters/posters joining soon. I know its hard to go over the same things over and over but we should let them have their say, we have all had our say and with the deadness of this thread lately how will it hurt?

 

I dont really want to read the same thing over and over but i also don't want to read a thread of bitching and moaning at each other as that's getting us NOWHERE. If you disagree or already no something sure tell the newb to search google but try do it in a friendly way so we dont end up with pages and pages of sh*t fights and arguments.

 

I know to google, you know to google but newbs get excited (i did) when they find this thread and just want to help solve it. (we all remember that feeling im sure)

 

All it takes is a bit of a... "thanks for the info new guy but we have already been over this in detail, search for xxx and you'll find more info about this"

 

If we could all do this we wont have to go through hundereds of posts of people arguing with each other.

 

In saying this, ANY NEW PEOPLE want to PM me and ask anything or suggest something, i have been here since V1 of this thread and have read everything, i dont claim to know half as much as some of the guys on here but feel free to ask me any questions, i wont bite.

I agree completely MTBB47, it is infnitely better to go over old ideas than to criticise people for bringing something up.

 

1. Not everyone started the journey together and can be honestly expected to know everything that's been covered. (Google can only go so far - nobody will read 100's of pages...)

2. There are no guarantees something wasn't missed first time and with people bouncing ideas off each other (even if previously discussed) these things are much more likely to be discovered as each person brings their own fresh perspective or can trigger something from someone who has been here the whole time.

 

In my job I respond to technical failures and one of the best bits of advice I have been given is to trust nobody - when you arrive on site you start your own testing from scratch as you never know what the guy already there has done or missed in his testing so you largely ignore what he says about his own testing. I think the same can apply here.

 

Collectively we have a huge pool of knowledge, better that we work together and if something gets brought up that you feel has 0 relevance then it is best if one just keeps his mouth firmly shut (or his keyboard unplugged) and let others who wish to, discuss it.

I sincerely hope you're joking. The album cover has nothing to do with GTA V itself but the fact that the phrase "We were promised jetpacks" is something many fans on GTAForums would say after every GTA V update and or release.
