Iv been thinking along the simplification lines also. Taking the evidence as fact is first step,what we Know...

Sup folks just a thought as im not in a position to try this but regards to the 500k directions on blue print i think the large cross is the first box in the mural and thats 100% but not just completing the story ive done that and im still at 80% i think you need to get the trophy for 100% to pop then follow directions which take you to the sub docks and then mabee someones waiting to interact with us, like i said im not in a position to try due to needing trophy and this has probs been defunked just not read anything on it. Also like the direction with omega and meridian therory hope to be 100% soon and more help

Iv tried that, but not thoroughly. Did go to docks with $ and interacted with EVERYone there,but then maybe its time of day/weather again? However, does this cross correspond to a location on the map? No chance of a bearing on that or locate?

Think other ppl have tried the dock thing also. Previous in this thread?

My theory is the fisrt box in mural is 100% this lets the ufos be seen mabee once the ufos have been witnessed take that same character to the dock with the 500k and yeah it seems most thing are happening on the full moon

 

Also once the deal is done there may be more directiin given to solve the other boxes leading to the jetpack (fingers crossed) but defo think theres something in the large cross at begining of directions and little crosses at end

 

Thats it the ps3s goin on im getting right into this folks its startin to take over all ma spare time lol even dreamin bout it ha ha ha

Sorry if this previously mentioned/debunked but iv just had odd experience i.g. Was at the northern coast of alamo sea on bike and went down that dirt rd leading to hillbilly commune(?)/pig farm with the 'dancing man' and ONE song on the radio looped... Anyway was watching him non stop dance,got annoyed eventualy and sneaked elbowed him to floor,1 strike. 1 star ensued. Then rode off but noticed as i paused he came up as a pale blue (epsilon?) dot. I looked,it said 'Friend'. Now iv just remembered he WAS in one of the missions,but with the immediate vicinity to chiliad And its on a Direct southern bearing... Sorry cant provide pictures. On the map its to the west of the small italy esque formation, nnw section alamo sea.sorry. Just seems odd to have Another pale blue dot friend post campaign to me...?

@caudy debunked. JP9865 and I both used 100% saves in our testings.

 

 

Also IMO the Abandoned pier (the one at Paleto Bay) is the best bet. And most of you that think it's the sonar docks think so for all the wrong reasons. An honorable mention is also the lumber mill. but that mainly depends on how you wonna interpret '<-' and how you wonna interpret the word "Dock"

@razgriz i dont have access to good view of map but wondered if the cross was on top of location. But then remembered seeing and it isnt is it? Disregard dude. My latest post has peaked my interest with strange friend dancer lol

Ahhh, In that case. I don't have access to a black light atm. (but since Halloween is around the corner aint hard to find a cheap one)

 

But the starting point is Lagu Zancudo which is about mid west coast of the island. while the message is lower left quadrant which would be lower right quadrant on the front. So I think it would be around east of that peninsula type thing near the Paloma Highlands East of the city. could be wrong on reference but for sure on the lower and right quarter of the map

Just been to the dancing hillbilly and tried to interact with them with frank the 2 dudes by the dancer spoke to me but said they were gonna eat my fingers mabee i need to interact with trev hes more on their wavelength ill let you know the outcome Edited October 7, 2014 by caudy

@caudy. The dancing hillbilly is an Easter egg in its own right. He's real. And he's also the in game dj of rebel radio I believe (correct me if I'm wrong)

 

He's there from 0% to 100%.

 

Also it's good to see the 500k to the docks getting looked at again. I spent so much time testing things for that. It's all in the thread that razgriz linked. Although we could never come to an agreement on which docks!

 

Segregate and Rearrange.

 

Maybe that's just the point.

 

Segregate us.

 

Maybe these mysteries are just a social experiment from R*. No end to them, dlc ideas, Future game mysteries, or just a let's see how crazy our fans really are.

Ok. So I went out and got a black light and I was way south on my estimate. the actual location of the X (if you burn it through) is right around here on the map

The Blue Dots, wow, this sent me back in time, I had just one kid back then...

I did investigate all these "Friends" with all characters, some even 2 or 3 times, whishing they'd throw all their speech on me, and they did afaik...

Regarding Angel's Meridian post - I´m guessing all of you have fully read his links, so I won't refer the basics.

 

Meridian passage was something that I had to learn some 20y ago, yeah I'm that old

It's 1 of 3 methods that were/are used on Astronomical Navigation to locate yourself on some map:

Method 1 - Star observation/height measure and timming at Sunrise, minimum 5 stars required, accurate enough 7 stars, optimal > than 7 stars;

Method 2 - Meridian Passage - This means timming and measuring the Sun's height at it's highest spot which would correspond to your actual 1200 (Longitude difference), this is/was how, with a lot of calculations, you will/would find your geographic location (before satellites, GPS or any of those apps, you know?), some accurate watch is required for this (gyroscope is mandatory!);

Method 3 - Same as Method 1 but at Sunset.

 

At night, since there's no Horizon line, no method can/could accurate state where you are/were.

 

You need a Sextant for any this Methods, note that I didn't use any * on Sextant!

It´s an actual word/instrument, so google it if it's new to you...

 

Now, kinda on topic, I've never heard that Meridian's reference from Omega, probably 'cause my speakers are usually pretty low since I try not to bother the girls

 

Imho, if available, this could mean (me being Omega ):

-Meet me at noon (location yet to be discovered);

-Meet me somewhere along that North-South line (Meridian) that crosses my trailer (at noon?...). This would confirm that the game map is some kinda Mercator projection (the common ones) and not Gnomonic (where Meridians are curves);

-Just some meaningless speech.

anyway apparently if you shoot the front of the epsilon truck with the deagle before you approach too close you incur the wrath of kifflom who it is said appears from somewhere to have a battle with Michael.

 

not sure if this is even possible but the comments from 2004/5 on jsomme blog talks about the mystery we are in right now.

There was a mod for san andreas by wearing the right clothing n being 100% you had to fly north from the suicide photographer n do something else, anyway 1 of the clothes shops turned into a new building and when u entered the kifflom god was a big ass blue chicken that u shot at, remember doing this sometime ago, hope this helps

While I think about it, in sa the cane was a big epsilon thing but no mention on v,also the tractor is on sa which explains a couple of tenets,"the tract is written, the tractor is ridden"

I've just explored down there for about 30 minutes in scuba gear but I could see nothing out of the ordinary.

 

Maybe a couple more folk should take a look, and then we can consider this debunked?

No I understand that...I think there's a hell of a lot of trolling in the comments. Someone mentioned the map with 7 points on which I was saying is in what was a UFO bar in the señora desert on SA which were there I believe to mark related points on the map in the game to some sort of mystery.

 

But yes I agree we can relate to a lot of this in GTA V, it's interesting that the red truck etc is so spot on

glad you looked bro, that has been playing on my mind for a while now. always better to have a couple of different opinions on things like this. certainly some trolling going on I agree but the red truck bit had me rolling round the living room when I first read it thinking I had found the cure for this mystery.

yes bro, they were doing a little hide the sausage in the caravan, I was franklin. I tried to sneak up behind it but the hillbilly said something like " sh*t they have discovered our secret time " or something to that effect.
