Bloodbath. I know many people made dm here but i used every bit of potential this place offers.

I felt the RPGs and Grenande-Launchers were the only thing that made this map unique compared to the rest. I also feel they've ruined the action on this map, however I can see all the kids loving RPGs on this. 2/5

Under the Bridge

1_0.jpg

Its going too be a close quarters bloodbath today. Two rival crews fight a turf

war amongst the silos and storage facilities under the Elysian bridge.

Good CQC guns + good Vehicle/Prop placement + good location = Fantastic job with great action 5/5

Here's a DM for sawnoffs centered around that barn up north. It's a nice little spot and with a few props, makes for a good shotgun battleground. Like many of my jobs, it's named after a Tom Waits song.

16 Shells from a .30-06

1_0.jpg

Great location for some wild west sawn-off action, perfect prop placement, good spawn/start points. I'm well jealous 5/5

Glad you enjoyed it. Even though I usually play it as a regular DM, I was thinking of placing the TDM start points facing each other for one of your showdowns. I just wonder if I should try and squeeze them all into the barn or try and recreate the ending to RDR.

Team 1 at the back of the barn, 2 at the entrance, 3&4 at the side away from the interior.

I tried doing this but the start points wont all fit in there with 4 teams.

So what I did was have 2 teams in the front and 2 in the back but teams 3 & 4 start on the 2nd floor of the barn.

I think you'll REALLY like this one:

The Pines

1_0.jpg

The lumberjacks deforesting the trees at Raton Canyon have lost it, and they're murdering each other left and right. I'm sure the eco-friendlies watching Weazel News are having a blast right now.

Your wrong I never really liked this..... I f*cking loved it. Great location paired with a nice weapon set and some pretty sturdy spawns that put you slap-bang right in the middle of the action, can't fault it, looking foward to playing this more 5/5

I thought you were going to sh*t on it so hard... But thanks, I remember submitting this on r/GTAContent and people really liked it, one even said it felt like a R* verified map, not sure if compliment or insult. I'm sure that R* won't notice it at all but for the meantime I'm happy that people are happy with it.

I assume that McKeever played this after you changed it? I played this again last night to see how it played after my first review. I said it last night as I was playing that it was much, much better than before. The map was more natural looking, the weapons much better suited, no running out of bullets this time. I haven't written the re-review yet but I reckon it is likely to reach the 18 mark. It did feel like something was still missing from it though that would make it a 20+/25 but I can't think what it is yet. It will be approved by me now anyway though since you made the changes. I'm glad you listened to the feedback I gave and used it rather than taking it personally. Maybe you can add and check out some of my DMs Dillono and let me know what you think, even just on the KAPE forum.

El Burro Blitz

1_0.jpg

Creator's Note: Cover is everywhere.

Very nice large scale DM, with plenty places to hide or use as cover. I choose to go out on my own at first and was met by the other team working together, more than enough ammo makes this a Class-A job, honestly can't fault it mate, was gonna downvote you cause it only had one gun type but that would be wrong, it's a carbine DM, it is what it is 5/5

Insane in the Membrane

1_0.jpg

Bit out of the ordinary this 2nd map, 2 - 16 Players.

Big map this one. Lots of odd stuff around.

Shootout within a large maze located around the wreck on Del Perro Beach!

Be careful round the corners while watching out for exploding trailers.

No time too question the maze. Just grab your advanced rifle and shoot.

Always good weapons with this laddie, and also always good layouts and spawns. Props are well spaced to make a nice kill factory that's bigger than you think. Keep it up matey !! 5/5

Bit cliche, but I made a TDM/DM that feels like those nostalgic call of duty maps.

Normally, you'd see two guys fighting over something valuable in a place with invaluable stuff. Now, take that, add a couple more "guys" and a ton of weapons, you get Scrapyard Battles.

Dry Docking

1_0.jpg

You want to come inside, but things get rough without enough moisture and there's a serious drought in L.S. Three floors of interior action in this deathmatch in and around the dry dock on Elisin Island. A bonus for reading the whole description, the RPG is a trap!

This is a busy DM indeed, lots of action at a really good location for a showdown. All the spawns and pickups are in their right places, I've seen this area used a good few times by creators, each time very different, this was defo one of the better one that makes very good use of this perfect spot, loved the action. 4.5/5

What Would Jack Bauer Do?

1_0.jpg

Your target to bring for questioning has been located in a shipment boat at the docks. He's armed and guarded, don't expect him to come easily. CTU has equipped you with a heavy pistol and a couple sticky bombs.

Weapons

  • Sticky Bomb (forced)
  • Heavy Pistol (next to every spawn point)
  • Pump shotgun (8 scattered across the map)

Really enjoyed the Heavy Pistol + Pump Shotgun combo on this, the Sticky Bombs are the thinking man's explosive also, we ran this as a 16-man free-for-all and there were still some places to camp out, nice map, all the spawns are good and the action was intense. 5/5

Forestry Mayhem

1_0.jpg

Preferably 3 teams as that's how it was intended to play out

Players: 3-16

I would say this is a very wild DM that is also one of my favourites that's set in the woods, loved the start, spawns were all fine, good gun choice and I'm starting to enjoy "prop-crazy" DMs more and more when I see ones like this. 4/5

The Hot Zone

1_0.jpg

This is part 1 of the Trilogy Cops and Criminals. So lets go back to the old days and just play some cops and criminals. LSPD and their Tactical Team has just entered the Hot Zone and are ready to bring down some criminals. No prisoners will bet taken, this is Dead or Alive.

Well spaced out map with all round good placement, wish others found it as easy as you to make good jobs, I prefer this one over R*s one at this location because it has easy and fast roof access and the action runs a lot smoother and faster, well done 4.5/5

Infiltrate And Terminate

1_0.jpg

War has unleashed in Los Santos, and every gang is figthing for a better territorium. Los Santos Triads are trying to infiltrate Fort Santos and terminate every single Marabunta Grande member. Your decision and determination will decide who is the ruler of Fort Santos, and what gang that would perish from the face of the earth.

The spawn and weapon placement on this is very neat and tidy, very much like a R* DM. The props were also well placed, a good choice of weapons with some nice set pieces gets this job a perfect 5/5

Thanks again for the reviews and kind words. :D

I've probably look for the same quality as you in a DM and that's why the good critics ;)

But what the heck, we all like some good feedback for our hard work

Thanks again Mckeever for taking your time :)

But who said it was easy  I've probably gone trough 3-4 scenarios before choosing the way I would like it to be :)

My primary objective is to get the DM as balanced as possible, to do this I work something like this:

  1. After finding a suitable space for the DM, I walk trough it with my character and go trough all the natural objects.
  2. Then I put in the primary props to try to balance the map from both sides.
  3. Place suitable weapons to their spots, I'll try to place them with the same distance form start point to pick-up on both sides.
  4. Place secondary props, like covers and props to get up on the roofs and etc.
  5. Then I just put in place what I like to call visual props, these are the just to tell a story, like cop cars, wrecks and things to make the place more lively
  6. I'll do the test you need to do to publish the game, this is just usable for testing props for roof access and hiding, the rest is bullsh*t.
  7. Final I do a test with my friends/crew and fix any issues that appears.

My best tips is to spend some time on your DM, and if your not happy with some of your props your friends and randoms wouldn't be neither.

Use that extra hour or day or whatever time you need to make it to the standard you want to play on yourself , If the creator don't like it why should anyone else?

Just for the record, I've only made a handful published DM's so I'm no DM GOD, this is just what works for me :D

LSC Hotel Rumble

1_0.jpg

Melee weapons fight on the hotel roof, all weapons apart from the hammer. Escape the roof alive for extra fun.

Nice wee crazy meele DM, someone showed up with a sky-lift somehow allow they never affected the fighting. Didn't run it for the 60mins you had it on by default but 5mins instead, because this map deserves guns like the Deathpool I made (check sig link) this fun melee map only gets a 3.5/5

Did remind me of COD a bit, nice props, nice spaced out pick-ups and no problems with spawns. SMGs make it so you can't just camp but you need to go out to get your kills and are also well matched range-wise with the Pump Shotgun. Seen this location used a few times, rarely this well. Oh and a nice wee shootout at the start! 4/5

Cargo II

1_0.jpg

Nice map, spawns were a bit iffy as a couple of times I spawned right behind people, so I would maybe bite the bullet and cap it at 8-players max, the SMG and Carbines were well suited to the map, can't say the same about the MGs and Snipers as they seemed a little bit too overpowered for this map, I did however enjoy the action on this so good job. 4/5

Little War Game

1_0.jpg

Seen this location used several times, mostly for other guns, the forced Sawn-offs go perfect with the Combat Pistol pick-ups here and the Tear Gas and Molotov's are good for smoking people out of their camping spots. This DM is training for people who ain't the best at Pistols and Shotties, and for people like me maps like this are a nice escape from Minigun-mode.... ooops I'm mean free-mode. Fantastic wee job. 5/5

Rocketman LSC

1_0.jpg

RPG only DM, I had the aspirin at the ready. Didn't need it as even the heavy-weapon-hating-Mckeever liked this one, only problem was the RPGs in the street were not spread along the whole street evenly but only at opposite ends, aside from that this was very fun because everyone has the RPG equipped for however long you make this one last. 3.5/5

Hey Mate.

Here's two new ones, these are actually brand new and raw material, thought it would be fun to give you something that's not been tested and tweaked.

Have fun, Cheers Buddy.
