auntjeff
When you've fallen down and hit your head repeatedly so many times, anything is possible. If it gets far enough maybe someday we can read a deposition if anyone is deposed. I will laugh when R* lawyers pose the inevitable question.....Ah, is that a new fragrance line or do you typically show up to legal proceedings smelling of urine, whiskey and the combined aroma of a baseball, basketball and football teams locker room? aaronimpact
If Rockstar are parodying Lindsay Lohan in GTA V but using a made up name. Doesn't this fall under freedom of speech? VIPΣR
She IS right! They are exactly the same! Okay, so no more reposting. But seriously, she needs to get a grip. There are tons of people who are parodies of real life celebrities. I don't see them getting their panties in a twist about that. So long story short: Lohan is a crybaby. Nothing more. She looks as old as my grandma on that pic and my grandma is 65. JESUS! Lindsay is 28 and already looks like 65 year old grandma. What the f*ck is wrong with this world. How does Saturday Night Live and other skit shows, movies get away with it? Yeah the funny thing is Lohan was on SNL back when she was stabile, and she had no problem making fun of Harry Potter by playing Hermione which as far as i know SNL doesn't own the right to it, Warner Brothers do . She's just a dumb drug addicted c*nt wanting to make some quick cash since Hollywood doesn't want her anymore .

Cebra
Well, the OP news article didn't even get the character's name right. Lacey Kunis? S1LV3R_W0LF
The funny thing is that she is getting exactly what she wants, she doesn't need the money, she wants the fame again that was why she was caught stealing clothes and even jewelry and even used drugs... they just want to be "remembered" to be talked about, if they do nothing no one remembers them, if they freak out everyone will talk about them and then they'll be called for interviews and all that BS "So you had an hard time, bhuhuu..." the typical TV bullcrap that people follow like a religion. She most likely won't win this lawsuit and she knows it, but shes back to the spotlight, she will be talked and people will make fun of her, she'll be interviewed by the "Operas and Ellens" out there and before we notice she'll be back to the big screen as a reborn phoenix... she is doing exactly the Rockstar portrait of an washed up celebrity star. This is nothing new and they know exactly how to manipulate the masses, some of them even hire paparazzi and take "forbiden pictures" to be posted in magazines to get attention and be "remembered", nothing new. johnny_zoo
Is she serious? That Rockstar girl can look like any typical blonde in the world if you squint hard enough. It doesn't even look like her. Sadly, I think she does spend a majority of her time on her knees alternating between baseball, basketball, football team locker rooms on a daily basis... anyway, I wish rockstar would stop beating a dead horse (I mean literally... Look at her face. I thought I first saw sea biscuit when I saw her) She has not been relevant since... well I think 2001 or so... I can't remember... whenever she released that crappy CD... Wheatley
Take Two and Rockstar can't lose since they put that statement at the beginning of the game detailing how "Any similarities to anyone fictional or real is purely coincidental". That's how they won that lawsuit with Jack Thompson because apparently they used his "likeness" for the lawyer in the mission "The Interview" in Grand Theft Auto IV. Parody laws state that anything different from the original source material be it a picture, person or song become derivative work. I can slap a moustache onto the Mona Lisa and I would be protected under parody law because it has become derivative work. For example, Weird Al doesn't need permission to parody songs by any musician because he doesn't need to although he does out of the respect for the original author.
