Can we get a more up to date demo? A nice lore friendly countryside was all IV ever needed to be perfect (and basic car customization which is already available via several mods)

 

From playing the 2 year old demo, the only thing that felt out of place was the highway east of LC, but I'm guessing that was probably removed.

I understand your  frustration about this, but i hope that you would also realize how difficult it might get to execute these ideas, naturally, this is no justification to kill such projects, it's only justified that they can be delayed for research or efficiency analysis reasons to get the final production quality in order. As with all projects that I do, i do "jump" bettween them, but they can also revive multiple times and so forth as to get them finalized, call it the "balance ratio of motivation and real work progress on this"

Look at AAA game maps, most of them have teams working map parts, props, there is a lot to consider. Thus far i have self-initiated research and i am seeking the best and most efficient ways to deliver great map contents in tolerable time spans.

why don't you select this map. It was first created by GTA 4 map artist Nik Taylor and was the first idea of the gta 4 map. This is also an accurate representation of the actual new york state. You can just use the area of Connecticut as catskills mountains and add the caraways to the east of broker and dukes. Also is the mod updated recently or available right now?.spacer.png

Does anyone know if there is a fastman limit adjuster version for complete edition version of GTA IV? I'm interested to pick this project up again and do some work on it

With new recent videos out, I wanted to see what the feedback is on the work done. About mod continuation, should it be continued on fixing up old version or starting anew with a new map entirely? I have done some legwork for new as well, screenshot is posted.


Do you believe this is worth continuing or is it better to go back to old map and fix that instead? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Not directly, I used this, since poster username is deleted either for bans or something else I don't know who originally made the derivation, but here's the post: 

 


It appears to be based on Nik Taylor's sketch but it does have some differences.
 

@gtaHII wasn't aware it had that issue as it works fine for me. Can you describe the problem in more detail?

The point is this... Well, you're familiar with such a GTA 4's problem as "texture loss", I guess ... Your Liberty State Full concept map takes about 32MB, which is very modest (and that's great!) and really shouldn't cause problems, but the more additional maps you install (and more importantly, the more weight each of them has), the higher the chance of loss textures after a few minutes of playing.

Yeah, I understand. I remember texture loss being a problem since over 10 years ago when I tested various modded maps in the game, it's unfortunate to see no fix has yet been found!

Some people were interested in the 247 supermarket (store) remake, so it's been developed, more news soon! In the meantime check out the new screenshots ingame.
