Paleto Bay Appreciation Thread

Whilst LS goes up in smoke and the residents are killing themselves over trivial beer hats and arguing over who has the biggest dick (insert chradder/twanker etc), I do something much more useful instead.................

I was wondering if any kind locals could advise me on nearby tank spawn locations.

 

Would one be able to acquire a tank with ease, should one wish to do so?

To the guy asking about tank delivery locations earlier, I just dropped into the middle of Paleto Bay, called Pegasus to have my Rhino delivered and it appeared on the construction site next to the gas station. So, it's still in town!

 

And aside from that nearby delivery location, every time I've visited the police station in PB, there's been a Buzzard waiting in the back.

 

So you've got all you need to defend your little town!

There goes the neighborhood. I've been goofing off and rampaging in PB since July 3rd. Now, within the past hour, these jerks started popping up. Couldn't believe it at first, heard the 'boom, boom, boom' then saw a vehicle driving erratically, of course I took a shot at 'em and they spun around guns blazing; it's on!!!

don't know if this has already been said but I really wish that once you bought a property you would no longer see the realty sign that is right in front of the houses.

I am gonna save the cash to go to Paleto Bay, as it is a great and underused place in this game in general.

Also because of the awesome base there.

 

 

and if you guys are too lazy to find it, I made a deathmatch for PS3 users there.

 

So yeah, imma move there for the awesome interior area, the calmness, the proximity to Chilliad, and for the convenience of everything. UuU

If it's true that you get to keep vehicles that would otherwise be lost when downsizing a garage, I might be moving soon too.

 

But I might just spend some more time up in PB to see if people really are as friendly as the people HERE claim to be.

I washed up on the shores of PB a couple weeks ago now, tired, almost broke and covered in blood... I needed a vacation in the worst way!

 

 

 

Since moving here, my perspective of whats important in life has totally changed... Fresh air, clean living and a simple, hassle free lifestyle where I can have some peace & quiet... A place where I can put my bloody and destructive past behind me!

 

 

I've also found, I seem to magically have alot more money now and can indulge in my favorite pastime, building hotrods!

 

The local mountain ranges & forests also make for spectacular views and a great atmosphere when it comes to taking part in some of my more adventurous extracurricular activities with friends...

 

 

When the weekend comes the surf and beach parties are pretty good here too...

 

 

But at the end of the day, when you just want some time to yourself, Paleto Bay is the one place where you can always find a quiet spot to contemplate life's mystery's!

 

 

I ditched the condo life and have not looked back... Life is good here in Paleto Bay!

Ever since I switched apartment to Paleto Bay money had started to fly to me. Back in the day I could ALWAYS switch between High-End apartments.... Waste of money. lvl127 and still don't have a Buzzard. lol

My cars finally arrived yesterday to their new home, the damn company from LS had some sort of problem with some street racers or something so it took some extra time to get to Paleto Bay

 

 

But at least i finally have them home

 

 

If anyone wants to take whatever i have in my driveway for a spin is welcome to it as i keep my cars unlocked for that purpose.

After thinking about it, I have a friend who said something very interesting. While we were out in Paleto Bay househunting, he told me.. "Los Santos IS the ghetto."

 

That really made me think. Where does all the crime happen? Los Santos. Where do people like to flock the most? Los Santos. Where are you more likely to get killed, carjacked, bountied on, or generally griefed? Los Santos. It really is.. the ghetto. Hmm..

Tonight I'll sell 4 cars, and buy a house up there.

 

I've been reading this thread, and found out a lotta things about PB. Air strip, helipad, LCS, Pegasus vehicles delivery (I'm not taking about the tank), boats delivery, stores, and no less important the peace and quiet.

I hope you welcome me friendly.

No more guys!! I realized that I have 20 cars, but I only use 5 or 6...

Tonight I'll sell 4 cars, and buy a house up there.

There's specialty stores around (ammunation, clothing store, etc.) but only a "regular" store down the road, up north a bit.

Still close enough, though! Would be nice to have another one in town to buy more of those snacks.
