I washed up on the shores of PB a couple weeks ago now, tired, almost broke and covered in blood... I needed a vacation in the worst way!       Since moving here, my perspective of whats import

love my house. the big lawn where i can park cars and a buzzard, the views of chilliad and the beach. cant wait till they open up the high end beachfront houses with 10 car garages

Cruising along on my bike heading to the barber shop when I see someone spawn in PBay behind me. I continue to ride along and he tries to run me over twice. I hop off my bike and calmly put some rounds in the back of his head. I hop on my bike and continue along to the barber shop. Moral of the story? Try to kill in PBay, your gonna pay.

Whilst LS goes up in smoke and the residents are killing themselves over trivial beer hats and arguing over who has the biggest dick (insert chradder/twanker etc), I do something much more useful instead.................

Just moved along the road to 4401...dat view of Chilliad when you leave and he fact the Helipad is so close! Really close to the start points of missions like Wet work and On Maneuvers, a couple of missions I really like to play. Pretty sure defender starts off nearby too...?

I would love to move to Paleto Bay due to the fact that I've always enjoyed being out in the country because of all the offroading spots to go to, but I don't know which six cars out of my 8 I want to keep. I already have one 10 car garage full off muscle cars.

Paleto's all about the simple life...not the high life. I'm torn about not have a 10 car property there, but that would ruin the charm of the area.

im happy with the 6 car we get there...granted the garage has one of every type of motorcycle available and all of my cars are actually on north shambles street in a 10 car, but thats beside the point.

When and if they release beach houses they HAVE to add windows. I don't want feel like I'm under ground in my house, I want to enjoy the view.

I was wondering if any kind locals could advise me on nearby tank spawn locations.

Would one be able to acquire a tank with ease, should one wish to do so?

You do know you dont lose the 2 cars for ever? So maybe pick 2 that you only use for racing as you will still have access to them in racing lobbies...

 

And when you get another 10 car garage in the future they will return....

Someone should start a thread we can leave PSN tags for the people who want to live that calm life and enjoy each others company. In LS, i kill in a heartbeat, because thats the nature of the city, but i enjoy relaxing more in PB.

I think someone tried to get a PB crew going but not sure it got anywhere.

I dont want to join anyones crew. Im speaking on a meeting up type of thread for everyone down for just cooling out. No crews, tank shifts etc...just cooling.

But even though I'm not currently a PB resident, I do like to go there for the peace and quiet.

 

A little truce would be nice. And it could lead to some friendly random interactions in free mode sessions with strangers!

If anyone is going to be adding people to a PB-no-hostilities list, I want in on it. I'll be more than happy to defend PB.

 

EDIT: It would also be nice if Rockstar added trucking mission starts to PB at some point in the future. Gives residents some jobs!

Drive a truck around the highway, picking up cargo and delivering it to all sorts of places.

Or hunting in the nearby woods. Or any other kind of free mode jobs!

Don't think I've seen that van design before, neat!

Always loved the back of those vans, but the headlights are a tad too aggressive

TBH I wasn't talking about RP jobs. xD

I don't mind a little RP.

 

But I don't see why R* can't add a few more free mode activities? We don't have ambulance, taxi or law enforcement jobs. With the current game there's a lot of possibilities. Aforementioned ones including trucking, hunting because now we actually have animals. Anything involving diving if and when gear is added for that. Escorting people or vehicles.

Hell, pimp missions like the one in GTA:SA.

 

Keep the San Andreas people busy!
