Paleto Bay Appreciation Thread

I was thinking this morning while having coffee and logging into my PB house: Not sure want ten car garages here bc wb influx of possibly griefers.

 

However, I would like some more realestate options like one of the houses closer to the beach, better ocean view like the house across from mine (4485 - fountain).

 

The PB location is a nice peaceful safehouse. It is close to the LSC and ideal for hassle free car sales. I use jobs / my buzzard to move around the map. Even my high end apartment at 3 Alta Street has lots of activity.

 

The other nite my character picked up one of the girls from spawn spot (the blonde in red micro skirt) and took her parking near the beach. Only in PB can one feel secure in showing a girl the stars without being sniped or blown up. However, I do recommend a radar check b4 bc somebody could be incoming or close. If bounty on u not good idea.

I miss my house in Paleto. I sold it when the first Ill Gotten Gains came out. Needed to upgrade to a ten car garage. Although I could now move back and keep 4 in storage... That's it, I'm moving back tomorrow. I really like riding my bike around town and just chilling. What PB really needs is a bar that's open so you can get tossed, play darts or pool. Pool was fun in IV, really don't understand why it's not in V.

I moved in PB recently and Its the best area in game !!!

 

- Almost every services are close-by.

 

- Chiliad mountain in my backyard ... I so love offroad stunts.

 

- Friendly neigborhood !!! Very often players who own same house as mine salute me either by gesture or car horn . In past i lived in Sandy Shore and im telling you it aint as peacefull and friendly .

 

Ill never leave PB ! I will always keep a safehouse there ... The only real downside is having 4 cars in storage , but after awhile you get use to it.

Yes, it's a make-believe World and there are plenty of things you can do, like play darts, golf, mod cars, ride a roller coaster, etc, but going a step further than that and making up things that don't exist in the game (empty fridge, having a bar tab) is just a bit too weird. The idea of taking a hooker to the beach to "watch the stars" makes me cringe so hard and I actually worry about the state of that guy's mind. Is his life that lonely?

How do you know how serious I am in-game? Apparently you havent played with me. And yes I am serious in having fun without anyone ruining fun things with poison. And If he is negative, I return the favour. Why should anyone who dosen't agree be allowed to say anything? Will we change if he comes here and say, not just a different opinion, but says it while he bashes those who post in here! Why will anyone care if he thinks we are creepy? We wont change because of that opinion, we will only get sad for him saying it.

I have a problem with unwarranted hostility, very common and hardly anything that needs to be talked out with a shrink.

 

Having the need to be rude against others, and trying to start a quarrel over nothing is more unhealthy and to be healthy again you need to see a doctor; more precisely a shrink, since this is all in your mind.

 

Just to stay on topic I can post one of my PBMO posts:

I was working for 'Red's Machine Supplies and Scrapyard' today, and went looking for some scrap to pick up around Paleto. I found some laying around this dumpster.

 

 

I loaded it onto my truck to bring it back to the scrapyard.

 

I throwed it upon this pile of rubbish so I could look through it later.

 

Then I parked my work truck on 'Helmuts European Autos' lot, and picked up my steady horse; the red truck.

 

I then went home and enjoyed the rest of the day in the sun out in the yard. Life is good in Paleto Bay!
