You can call a Hydra, they spawn on the héliport now. Or change your spawn point, switch sessions, ans boom, teleport.

It is not like anyone that have a tank cant just go up to Paleto and try to summon a tank and find out where it spawns. But PBMO ftw!

I really wish the interiors matched the exteriors of the houses. because it is REALLY breaking immersion for me.

One of my favorite things to do in the mornings is sign on spawning at my PB location selling a stolen car the mech brought to me at the mod shop from the LS location where I store stolen gang cars or ballers, dubstas, anything over 5000 sell value if the more valuable cars can't be found during that game period.

 

I sit there with my coffee enjoying a poptart then after the car sale perhaps doing a car mod or enjoying the views, girls of the night. I may even take one of my boats out as Paleto Bay allows much relief from the LS violence. They have to travel a ways to come after you in PB but watch out from players spawning finishing a parachute job. If its me, I am just returning to my vacation home.

 

I try to avoid trouble, cruel behavior with neighbors, friends, fellow crew members. I have made mistakes at times bc fight or flight mode quick decision had to be made and regrat that incident. Sometimes some red dots will grief me and I will go out in passive mode to mess with them. Just don't let them run you over. One guy was so gung ho to mess with me he killed himself and destroyed his car trying to bomb me. Consequently if somebody closing in quickly on me and intentions seem hostile I may take action. Yes I have stood out there and tried to be mister nice guy and got shot down like that - been there done that. No more bad surprises accepted.

 

If you are having stress IRL or going thru a major depressive episode brought about by some type of real life loss try moving to Paleto Bay to forget these stresses.

 

If you are new to the game try a house or garage in Paleto Bay to get away from LS to build up your player / strategy. You can always travel to your favorite areas of LS with a race or parachute job ending in that area plus get paid for it from the Rockstar online menu. You can even design your custom playlist with a job ending at your desired location.

 

At this time I consider myself retired until some new properties are added to stimulate my main interests in the game. I am approaching level 150. Some of my current and past properties: Alta st apt 57 (one of best views IMO and not expensive either), ten car garage near airport closest to LSC (nice little complex, super for sport shooter of planes, choppers, jets, great car sales location as close to Airport LSC), the marina six car apartment w garage super for cover snipe guys at the helipad, take down choppers with hsm, sub spawns nearby in marina - other sub spawn location at the sonar dock not far from Paleto Bay, not a bad bounty retreat, close to beach, can be fairly peaceful at times, your boat can be ordered from Pegasus and placed in marina outside your apartment. Hangman Avenue House (backyard area can be used as heli landing site otherwise this location not fun to get to, has a neat backyard and pool, lots of selfies with npc's that spawn for party in the backyard pool area, a sort of plus for this property plus some fun messing with bikini gals at neighbors pools), South Shambles ten car garage (near key procurement locations), current Procopio house location (one with fountain, key sales bounty hideout location). The South Shambles garage and my PB house are keeper locations at this time. My Alta st apartment is a ten car garage, inexpensive high end apartment (not the 500k variety) and not too close to the LS violence, but no retreat by any means. There is average cover outside to snipe tresspassers but not as outstanding as the marina location.

 

I added a guy to a PB crew I am in who is neighbor who tried to befriend me but bc I do not know how to add or forgot friend requests,(lmk me know how if you can) I did not add as friend. But when I saw his crew request I added him to the crew.

I actually have an idea: R* should make it so the safehouses 4401 Procopio Drive (Paleto Bay) and 4 Hangman Avenue (Vinewood Hills) will each have their own unique interior. But not only that, these new unique interiors will include a heist room, as these two are the most expensive mid-range houses. Now people who want to live in Paleto Bay while still being able to have heists would be able to.

While I have a house in Paleto Bay, I regard it as a vacation getaway, bounty retreat, key car sales location (close to LSC in PB and hardly ever anyone around to disrupt process).

 

I have a high end apartment in LS if I ever wanted to lead a heist. Putting up money for something which has unknown payout or hours of effort simply has not appealed to me at this time. I have participated in heists which have been good in terms of my time and some not.

 

I feel like there should be high end apartments, houses with ten car garages in places like PB for those of us who do not want our residence in the middle of or near a free for all war zone.

 

That Lesters calls do not go to the safe houses with less than ten car garages can be a plus if one finds the calls annoying and has no desire to invest in heist leadership. However I can agree with your position on desiring a heist room on the 6 car garage houses.

Still a resident of the Bay, just haven't been playing quite as much (working on moving). That said I couldn't resist picking up the new rally fighter car and give it a run up the mountain!

Well about a week ago i traded my weazel tower apt for the 4401 (already forgot the name... ) home and absolutely love being in Paleto Bay. My time spent so far on the PS4 and i've only seen 4-7 people ever go to paleto bay. It definitely was worth the trade in and being alone makes it nice for when i just want to explore or go swimming or parachute off Mount Chilliad. Even got a custom made Beejay XL for when i want to go off-roading.

Hello guys, long time GTA fan but new to the forums. I'm currently on the fence; I really would love to switch my 4 Hangman Ave property for 4580 Paleto Bay, but I'm very split on the decision Reading this thread has definitely swayed my opinion towards the Bay property though. You all seem like such chill beachfront folk and mingling is tempting.

 

I play on PS4, and the one thing that bummed me out was the water fountain being removed from the front of the property Anyone know why they did that ?

 

 

Edit: Forget the fountain property; 4401 seems to be the place dreams and dreamfriends are made of.

Just moved back to Paleto since I owned a garage there in 2013. I purchased the 2-car apartment because it's right across from the clothing store and next to the mod shop. I can also land my Hydra in Willie's parking lot right next door. Amazing.

Never posted on an appreciation thread before, but I have to say, Paleto Bay is the most beautiful area in the game. The forests, the sea, the mountain.... all of it is so atmospheric. Nothing better in this game than when the sunlight shines through the clouds over the mountain, but the shadow of Chilead makes strains the light and makes everything grey.

I've never experienced this particular issue and I've had a house in the Bay since the came available.

Lived here for a year with no issues aside from not being able to use the cars in storage for racing. (Doesnt bother me) i still have all 30 cars

I was going through my garages near the airport when I realised I have never used half the vehicles I had stored. So I sold a bunch and moved north for some peace and quiet. Quite happy with the decision
