Paleto Bay Appreciation Thread

I'm going to purchase a place there tonight; any reccomendations?

 

I own three properties already, but if I trade in a garage for a nice little house in the bay, will my cars get tranferred or will I have to thin out the herd first?

If you go from a 10 to a 6, 4 will do into storage. They're still usable, you just have to call the mechanic for them

Anybody know wether there is a vending machine in his town? I've looked for it but couldn't find it. The place would've been perfect if there was also a shop, but a vending machine would do as well.

Yup I've explained the change from 6 car to 10 car pretty completely earlier in this thread.

Frankly it still surprises me that SO many people don't know that you CAN transfer from 10 car to 6 car and keep everything.. It's been this way for as long as I can remember.

Looks like we have a good thing going in the bay at the moment . I am now the proud owner of 2 properties in the bay and yes ,feel free to sleep on the couch . Spent about 45 mins last night just walking around looking at the diversity of our shops . Things couldn't be better and our town is thriving. Our mayor has a nice little establishment going on and I would recommend joining his top class crew.

Thanks for your help to explain the garage sitcho to everyone badblack87gn . And about the vending machines I don't recall seeing one on my travels last night dbrasco. Plenty of beer at my house which is a huge consolation . Personally I don't think the 5 minute drive is too extreme if you stock up well while you are there .

I too walked around last night in town and seriously considered selling my r.majestic for the 2 car garage on the main drag.

Opted instead for the 6car by the marina in LS, just so I use my Speeder more often.

 

Do you ever dust off OG? I see you used to be on 360...

I own 3 properties in Plateto Bay now (on my main). Im out of Los Santos for a while.

every super in storage but my Vacca. Comet is my only sport.

So me and a friend(another resident of the Bay ^_^ ) took our Sandkings up Chiliad. No trails here, boys, just some hillclimbing and flex shots.

 

Got a simply BEAUTIFUL view of the Bay.(Yes, this IS last gen, I ASSURE it!)

Friend lost his truck, so we rode up farther in mine...unfortunately, we lost traction, and tumbled down to the Bay. Took it to Beeker.

There is a freight train that circles much of the map, including Paleto Bay. However, it only makes one stop (at the Power Station) and cannot be hijacked.

The best part after moving my casco and rocoto is finding not one, but two Benefactor Serranos! I've searched for weeks for one of these. So I nabbed one for the garage in Paleto and one for my Benefactor garage in popluar street.

 

I am now a devotee to Paleto Bay.

Finally got myself my second home in paleto, owned both properties previously but sold one to buy a "high end" appartment just for the heists, but have now completed all heist so no need for "high end" anymore, so sold it and purchased the other 6 car garage house (which id previously owned) so im back to owning both properties in paleto now, with 12 well used vehicles, glad to be home

Hello fellow residents! I have owned the 6 car house in the town of Paleto, but I want to downgrade to the 2 car apartment. Nothing will happen to my stored vehicles, right?

Also, where is this "town crew"?
