I'm with everyone here, sometimes its just relaxing and peaceful to drive down to paleto bay away from the madness and morons in tanks and sticky bombs,plus my bobcat fits right in.

Definitely buying there if we can get a 4th house. Going to get some muscle's and tuners in there to recreate my F&F house Unfortunately the driveway and garage is on the wrong side of the house, but eh, who cares

 

Also, wing suit style base jumping is right around the corner there Love it!

I find the Paleto Bay Beach can be a functioning airstrip. I have been successful landing the Luxor Jet there and with practice the process can become almost routine.

 

For airtravel from PB I simply go to the helipad which is not at all far from my house at 4401 Procopio. Early in the game I moved there to get away from griefers and have some fresh air. I like the ocean view but remain wary of strangers quickly approaching. In South LS I let my guard down believing a guy driving up to me was friendly and got shot off my motorcycle by a level 2885 when I would have had a clear, easy shot at him with a bomb.

 

PB fits in with my car sales strategy as the mod shop is close and almost never any interference like LS. PB has it all and my goal is to be peaceful towards neighbors. My other properties are a garage in South LS and a swanky condo in Del Perro. At level 118, I am wondering what life will be like at level 120. My favorite survival is Processed as 3-4 players have a good chance of getting to level 10. My least favorite survival is Maze Bank. Never ever got to level ten there. Got to level 9 at the sawmill a couple of times but other players got themselves killed instead of hiding behind cover / playing smart and left me to save the day last time.

You can also land the mallard on the road in front of your house if you time the landing right. I alway park mine here.

Why not the cuban? Is the cuban wing span longer than the mallard? I thought they were about same the size. Now I have to try all those planes you mention lol

The Cuban obviously has larger wing span. But not as large as the Velum (tested in Creator when I wanted to buy a plane but was undecided). Its kinda difficult trying to land down there with the Vestra (takes forever to stop) and the Besra (kinda large aircraft).

 

It IS possible to land the Vestra in the highway though.

 

E: I'm talking about "storing" the planes in that spot, not actually landing them. Landed the Cuban countless times right next to my old house a couple of times before. Same with the Vestra but you need to land elsewhere and Taxi it to the desired place.

I really wish some of these houses on the ridge/cliff were for sale. Specifically the ones with stair cases leading down to the beach. I really like this one:

I just bought a house here. Took my beach cruiser for a ride. Bought some clothes and snacks. Took my boat out for a bit. Came back just in time for the sunset. It was queer as f*ck.

If you like doing Landing Strip, the roof of this house is perfect to snipe everyone on the beach around the plane. They can't shoot you, and they don't respawn endlessly. Then one player can run down the stairs (don't fall off the roof) to the plane and the other is just around the corner from a Buzzard to take out resistance at Sandy Shores.

We have had I think 3 updates since PB opened and no new properties... but, the next update is only Tuesday so I suppose it depends on your cash situation. If you are flush, don't wait, enjoy the peace now and upgrade later if one comes available!

Yeah, Im strapped for cash since I haven't had a chance to play lately. So, I guess it's worth waiting. Really looking forward to it, especially after reading this thread.

Hi all, im new to this thread, but read it all yesterday and had to leave a comment, after getting to rank 288 with my original character i decided to start a new character and after deciding on a more peaceful outlook of the game i got myself both 6 car houses on procopio dr, i purchaced both properties about 3 days after the update was released and very rarely find myself in los santos now, i absolutely love it in paleto bay, so much so, that ive now deleted my original character so now i only have the one, ive made a few new friends online while wondering around paleto bay aswell, get the odd honk on the car horn or a salute, its never the shoot on sight like in los santos, i just have one question for all you fellow paleto bay citizens..... are there any decent crews about on the xbox 360? Been in a crew with friends since day 1 but theyve all upgraded to next gen and i havnt yet, im a full time dad and my money is spent on the kids (apparently their needs have to come before my own, lol) though i am slowly saving for a next gen console!
