I've been debating selling my house in Grapeseed and moving to Paleto Bay. However, I like the ability to basically walk to mckenzie field from my front door. Can somebody sway me to Paleto?

I have all my properties in Los Santos, one in downtown next to the bridge and two garage in East Los Santos by LS Custom.

 

Don't see the point by having a property in North San Andreas as I'm mostly of my time in the city. If I'm north and want a car of mine just call the Mechanic and done, or go to the airfield and pick a plane. If there was San Fierro, Las Venturas or maybe a bigger place then Paleto Bay I would probably have another property somewhere up north.

Paleto Bay has almost everything you will ever need on a single street. McKenzie Field is only a short sprint down the highway, but if you're truly in a hurry, a helicopter is available behind the Sheriff's Office for quick transport.

Well, there are multiple biker crews, whom I, the mayor allow, and then my friends crew, The Brotherhood of Steel, L.S Chapter, which isn't a Paleto focused crew, but it's the best I've been in. Well, in late '98 all the garages turned into magic rooms, so parking is no big, and all insides have been the same since early 2013, so it really depends on the view you prefer. I personally have the fountain, howver that might change since a lawsuit that I was unable to repeal (The recent drought in San Andreas, and in particular Los Santos and Blaine County) forced my hand to have the beautiful fountain that once graced that amazing house removed to conserve water, and the 18th of November, 2014

I like my 4401 Procopia Dr. house. Beach is just a hop, skip, or jump away. Helicopter pad close by. Well really everything iS close by them all lol. I just like this house alot.

I really need to move up north. It's the nicest part of San Andreas and my favorite place to hang out and take photos. I hope they release more houses up there. Until then, I don't mind cruising up the Great Ocean Highway.

Love Paleto Bay, the only thing I wish it had was an airstrip. I see no reason why Pegasus can't deliver aircraft to the beach. After all, Scotland has a legit airport where scheduled passenger flights use the beach:

I find the Paleto Bay Beach can be a functioning airstrip. I have been successful landing the Luxor Jet there and with practice the process can become almost routine.

 

For airtravel from PB I simply go to the helipad which is not at all far from my house at 4401 Procopio. Early in the game I moved there to get away from griefers and have some fresh air. I like the ocean view but remain wary of strangers quickly approaching. In South LS I let my guard down believing a guy driving up to me was friendly and got shot off my motorcycle by a level 2885 when I would have had a clear, easy shot at him with a bomb.

 

PB fits in with my car sales strategy as the mod shop is close and almost never any interference like LS. PB has it all and my goal is to be peaceful towards neighbors. My other properties are a garage in South LS and a swanky condo in Del Perro. At level 118, I am wondering what life will be like at level 120. My favorite survival is Processed as 3-4 players have a good chance of getting to level 10. My least favorite survival is Maze Bank. Never ever got to level ten there. Got to level 9 at the sawmill a couple of times but other players got themselves killed instead of hiding behind cover / playing smart and left me to save the day last time.

ALERT: Bailing out over PB to get to your house.

 

Many times I will jet from LS to PB and then bailout over water like last time when a heli chased me all the way from there. Have the jet crash in ocean otherwise cops alerted. I could stay ahead of the heli in the Luxor but just barely. I saw a white blip near my house (of all times to have this happen. I bailed out over the water with the heli closing and came down on Procopio a couple of house down from 4401 the heli, buzzard had closed to easy missle range as I was on ground running (don't know why he did not fire). I turned and got him with my heat seeker missle as he moved into possibly 15 feet. The other guy was coming from the other direction and I had no time to aim a weapon just run to my house. He did not fire on me probably awed by the scene of the blast. I passed within ten feet of him and went inside. Both were buzzing my door the guy I shot down (level 141?) and the other guy (level 10). Had enough of them and went to other lobby, no way give guy I shot down chance at revenge. He had chased me all the way from LS to get shot down in PB. I believe he felt he could get me.

After stalking this forum and this thread for a long time, i decided to switch my 3rd property from a 10 car garage near the airport to a house in Paleto Bay. After that, i'm using the second character more than my main one. Paleto Bay it's just a dream. EVERYTHING is nearby, i can get out of my home without checking map for other players. Wonderful views, forest nearby, beach, PEACE. It's the best place in the game, really.

Even did a photo after moving on.

The best purchase i've done with 2nd character after Lumberjack van (which fits perfectly in PB) and the Glendale.

One of things keeping me in Los Santos is the houses interior in Paleto Bay DONT match their exteriors. I hope R* eventually makes each interior unique for the House safehouses, as well add a high end mansion for people who want to be in Paleto Bay and plan Heists.

I hear ya. I wish we had more individual styles. I keep hearing aboot this "apartment management" but idk how true that will be. Mansions would make this so much more epic for GTA. Maybe one day....
