This DLC is very disappointing... This is only delaying heists even more, Rockstar: Are you too incompetent to make Heists and/or Cops N Crooks, or have you just been procrastinating beginning work on heists? The only thing worth purchasing is the Musket.

Rockstar have scenario to this. Those promises and apologizes are bullcrap.

you guys act like rockstar is just one small dev team and not a massive company working on the game in different sections. different areas of the rockstar development team work on different DLC so putting out and DLC in between heists is in no way delaying them. there is obviously some improvements being made to what they already had so they are releasing other things to keep us occupied in the meantime that dont require a large amount of work.

honestly i dont even care for heists I would much rather get more stuff like this

Mr. Crowley

God damn it, so the launcher is gonna disappear?

I wouldn't have bothered buying it and all the paint colors for both characters if I had known that...

According to what Rockstar has said, yes, it will be disappearing from our inventories in Mid-July.

Loving the Liberator. The houses could be much more expensive and better BUT they are still pretty nice. Still going to stick with my Apartments.

I would rather have new LOCATIONS then new interiors, so good work R* on that part, now fix payouts.

Not to mention this is an INDEPENDENCE DAY dlc and, oh wait, what's that? It could have been sitting there completed waiting for, no way... INDEPENDENCE DAY.

seriously, all of you whining about this dlc, especially those not in the USA aren't the brightest crayons in the box, are you?

It's stunning isn't it, that a game developer based in the USA might out out an independence day dlc for a game set in a flipping American city.

...

The monster truck is fun, it's a shame it's a pegasus vehicle but it's still fun.

The new houses are fine, they offer something different. If you don't like them, don't buy them, and keep your whinging asses out of peaceful paleto.

I'm no fan boy, there is stupid things in this update too Like the possibility of losing a 57k fireworks launcher.

Tl;Dr - this update celebrates a day that hasn't come about in gta before, so stop whining, it was likely finished and waiting to be released for this event.

I have solved my missing car problem by doing what was suggested earlier i bought the cheap 10 car garage and positioned my my cars in slots 1-6 and re-bought the house on hangman avenue and now all cars are accounted for.

While I agree with most everything you said, the GTA series has always been developed by Rockstar North in Scotland, not America. As the series got bigger and bigger their subsequent studios around the world get involved in making the games, but they're a Scottish based and originated company, not an American one.

Rockstar Games is headquartered in New York City and the GTA development team is in Scotland.

Where Rockstar is based or where the developers are is irrelevant as everything is based on the games setting, not the developers.

That's because most people on this forum have no idea how the real world operates, let alone billion dollar companies. Lets face it, you're all a bunch of "know-it-all" douches.

How have you lost it? I bet if youdo a race it is still there...unless you sold it to move.

that would be pretty cool actually

just put 4 cars you only use for racing in the correct spots

move to a 6 car garage house and keep the 4 cars for racing

Nope. The same thing goes for the Hair, Car Upgrades, and Firework Launcher. If you remove them after the Event, you wont be able to get it back. This is why Limited time DLC is stupid.

Houses are WAAAY to cheap. I love the move by R*, but 700+ grand for a monster truck, and 170 for a house is just ass backward.

You sure about that?

Im sure its my opinion. I have no clue what a monster truck actually cost, however in terms of making money (despite how easy some declare it to be) its backwards. Again, jmo.

Hard Labor is f*cking sh*t. It's basically the same as the Gang Attack at the Little Seoul construction site except once you get to the top floor, the Boss leaves in a Helicopter and you have to chase him all the way to Catfish Cove, where his chopper lands. I suppose if you're quick you could down him with a grenade or rocket and save yourself ten minutes of pissing around. $15000 for that, on Hard. It's no RR, fo'sure.

Did they change up how the Firework Launcher is going to be handled?

You will be able to use any Fireworks or Firework Launcher ammo still in your inventory after the expiration date, but you will not be able to purchase any additional Fireworks or Firework Launcher ammo after that date. The Firework Launcher will remain in your inventory but you will not be able to select it once you have run out of ammo.

How are the payouts/RP of the three contact missions? Worth the effort?

So far i've only done Hard Labour and I dare say it earned it's name. In short, it was not worth the $15,000 ($7,500) it payed out.

Why does Rockstar always do this with their contact missions? :/
