Jaxen
Why not make a new section for solutions. Make new topics for each of the missions. This means that rather than little newbis comming into this forum and requesting help. The Pros and Vets can post their solutions in the topics. This would dramatically reduce the usless dupe-posts. eh?
Frank Castiglione
Look, this is the GAMEPLAY forum. There are 2 kinds of people who come to the gameplay forum, "newbies" who just got the game and are looking for advice about how to do certain things in the game, and veterans who come here to help the people who need it and possibly run across different techniques to sections they have already passed. This is not like the gamefaqs forum where your topic gets sh*t right off the bottom of the screen 20 seconds after you post it. If you post a topic here, even if you don't get an answer, you've probably at least got the better part of a day before you're bumped over to page two, so its not like these repeat topics are pushing off something important that you have to say. Those things said, if you are a "Pro" or "Vet" then EVERY topic you see in here should be old hat by now, so if you aren't here to help "little newbies" with thier problems, then why are you here complaining? Go on over to General Discussion or somewhere else and b*tch out the people who ask gameplay questions there. I can't think of a single thing that can be posted in gameplay right now that hasn't already been posted in here at some point in the past. There are too many people who have beaten the game too many times here and posted on damn near every aspect of it. So why would you complain about repeat posts in here? That's obviously all you're going to find. They aren't hurting you any. So help some "newbies" or go have fun in another forum. Jaxen
Ok, calm down, breathe in... and out. I had no intention of getting up anyone's nose. I was just suggesting that so that newbies who come to this forum looking for tips or people who come looking for solutions would have an easier time finding things and don't have to post asking a questions which everyone else has heard a thousand times. It would reduce junk posts and improve this forum as a source of information. Can't be that bad. If you want you could even pin a post with each mission in on the any of the forums, it's just this forum may be more pertinant because playing the game through is also gameplay unless you are looking at it in a macro gameplay sense, just the actual use of game controls, navigation and other internal things? The big problem with this is that the newbies don't know what all the missions are, how many they are, what they are called, what they entail, etc etc. By giving forum names for each and every one of them you're basically killing off part of the enjoyment of playing the game in the first place.
