Ok After seeing the ( HD Carl Johnson for GTA V ) Topic by my friend almico, it has inspired me to create a HD Tommy.

To get him as accurate as i can i Imported the head mesh of Tommy from vice city and retopologized it to have a cleaner looking low poly mesh.

I then imported it to mudbox and done a sculpt, here is the progress so far.

Not bad dude, are you planning to have this one rigged to IV or just SA/VC?

 

Oh, and btw, you used Mudbox for the Kit Kittredge ped you made, right?

Good job! The proportions look perfect, except for the ears which seem to droop down a bit. Other than that, you nailed it!

Assuming that GTA V for the PC would be using 1024x1024 textures I'd say you should go for a more higher-def face shoop.

I payed attention to the comments, i fixed his ears, and i created a 1024/1024 texture, adjusted a few things like the hair any eyes 14d116h.jpg

good work man...but yeah he look creepy... and the neck is too straight like a pipe or something, and i think you should use the cutscene tommy as reference instead of the ingame ones that also creepy...

At last pic the head is too small for this body and the eyeballs are weird too. But overall pretty well done. Keep it up :^:

Just pointing out here, why didn't you use the cutscene model head? That one is better detailed and has actual eyes, unless you were trying to keep it as close to the In-Game model as possible.

@Ash_735, Honestly it didn't cross my mind, i forgot that the cutscene models are more detailed, but on that note i just installed vice city again to get the model to compare, in addition, the only issue is the eyes i gathered from the comments, so i will try and get them looking less creepy.... EDIT - i looked at the cutscene model and done a few tweaks to my model, also done a new texture, is this one better than before hopefully the eyes looks better now ?.... 73h1lu.jpg

The model is pretty much complete, other than his jewelry and his watch of course :p. needs a few texture adjustments and tweeks but i'm pretty much satisfied with this project any suggestions ? 2eds0w2.jpgiyfrbk.jpg

Stupid question. You used Turbosmooth on the model also right? I can see from the Tommy shirt that it kinda looks like it. (Used it on a original Tommy model once and got the same results) :p

@darthvader taking alook at it i see your point, after spending so much time on one thing i tend to make to many adjustments i will fix it, and also keep in mind guys this isn't the final so please make constructive comments for it to improve don't just be asses
