I know it's a little far fetched and may get tons of hate but how cool would a villain update be, you could buy characteristics that last 24 hrs for a price, like flight for 100k or super strength etc. you could hire goons that stay with you till they die, they could release great masks and outfits, I mean our characters are far from normal people anyways, why not have them stand out from npcs that much more.

 

I know it's not something everyone will love and it'll ruin realism etc I wouldn't want it as a dlc anyways but just in theory, do you think it would be fun? What masks/powers would you like to see?

A villain update would be cool. I'd love to dress up as Dr. Evil and shoot friggin' lazer beamz. I like this idea

Uh, no. Why would I buy somethin for only 24hrs? Christmas update does it for free.

You want flight? Call Pegasus. You want strength? Call brucie. If your a winner, you should be jucin'.

Just call merryweather and give em $7500. And if they are like other NPCs, "till they die" is just a matter of seconds...

Your chacacter has a Pogo mask on.... How much more do you really need to stand out?

Grand Theft Auto needs to keep some sort of realism or "order" to distinguish itself from Saints Row.

 

Back when Saints Row (1,2) came out, people were comparing it to GTA. Both games were somewhat serious, although Saints Row was more on the gangster side, the two were very compatible.

 

Now that Saints Row f*cked over its loyal, since day one fans, with the futuristic little kid, alien type sh*t, GTA and SR are no longer comparable. They're night and day.

 

GTA can get away with an alien dlc, if its not too over the top.

 

So I say nay, to this idea.

 

Nothing against you, but I like the realism of GTA and I'd hate to see it go down the wrong path, like the once great Saints Row series

We need to be able to purchase at the least the Alien Outfit ($100,000) and perhaps the Monkey Outfit and similar. Would provide plenty of amusement.

 

So I say entire costumes instead of more Masks.

 

As for Powers, leave those to the comic books.

Lol so you don't wanna work to be original? I'm sorry but that's silly . No matter what the options, originality takes work. Your character may have wound up being a generic clone, but that doesn't mean everyone else's did too.
