Anyone else think the next one or two updates are going to be huge? With all this leaked DLC info (zombies, casinos, pink slips, heists etc.) I wouldn't be surprised if R* release a lot of it together. I really doubt they are going to make us wait a year for heists then release the heists on its own. There will be a load of new vehicles and stuff I think.

I can remember at least 3 or 4 times where they talked in the newswire about "Content that comes soon, including heists". Some of those were just 2 months after GTA Online release. When they said end of Spring, I didn't have any trust in that it would be released. What I think is, they wanted to release the heists today but kept quiet because they received backlash for not keeping with the deadline last time. And now that it still isn't ready, they thought this new deadline miss would go past quietly. They might make it before humanity disintegrates into piles of pink fairy dust.

 

All they have achieved with not releasing content or info about a new update is me not wanting to go near the game for another week. Haven't touched it since shortly after the Independance DLC, will not do it until there is fresh content. I will see if I can finally go back and play without boring myself to death next week.

When GTA 4 was annouced in early 2007 we knew then there would be DLC which was on schedule in 2009. I don't think the same crew is working at R*, and I think a few employees got fired in the last few months.

Yeah, sucks when a company won't release games or DLC because they don't feel it is up to their standards and they want to put more work into it. I have no problem with the delays as long as the product is great. R* probably should have just STFU and not quoted dates or time frames to avoid this....but then everyone would b*tch because R* wasn't quoting dates/time frames for release.

 

OT - I still think DLC is possible this week but I wouldn't be surprised if its released next week and its a "High Roller" theme and the casino is utilized.
