Nights744 243 Posted July 10, 2014 _____________________________ Topic: Police and Ambulance Missions Source: Previous GTAs: III, Vice City, San Andreas, IV Comment: GTA IV had police and ambulance missions. Conclusion: Police and Ambulance Missions are not included in GTA V. _____________________________ _____________________________ Topic: Mr. Whoopee Source: Previous GTAs: III, Vice City, San Andreas, IV Comment: Mr. Whoopee ice-cream vans were present in GTA IV. Why arent they in GTAV? Wouldn't it have been a great idea to have Trevor drive one of them? Conclusion: Mr. Whoopee is not in GTA V. _____________________________ GTA IV’s Multiplayer is Free of DLCOnline multiplayer in Grand Theft Auto IV simple to set up — you log in, you choose your mode, and you’re good to go. Not only is GTA Online in Grand Theft Auto V not live, an XML file on Rockstar Games’ site hints at “cash cards” for the game that trade real-world currency for in-game dosh. While still speculation, this would mean that gamers who sink in the most money will come out on top. [insert number here] The whole map was 'usable' [insert number here] More 3-era orientated HUD (don't really like the new one). It was a real good one in between... [insert number here] GTA IV also had the same impact as GTA III because it hit a whole new level. (That is why I didn't like it back then) Also: This: and this: (Originally done in GTA IV and they paid tribute to it in GTA V) My subjective opinion derives from my preference for the more serious titles like GTA III or IV. They are good examples. I also like the games in between like Vice City and Vice City Stories. Then again, there is the other end of the spectrum with San Andreas and V, which go over the top. I have never heard of any Blood or Crip flying a fighter aircraft. It is funny at times but gets boring very quickly. Just look at YouTube. Whenever I search something even if it is not GTA, there is one 'stupid' San Andreas video in between showing mods that 'f*ck up' the game. These videos have 10,000,000 views most of the time. Also, the GTA V trailer has more views than anything if you type in GTA. It clearly shows the mainstream preference for the funnier, more over the top titles. blackrooster_ 217 Posted July 11, 2014 3. Better driving physics Don't agree with this one at all, The driving mechanics in V are much smoother then IV The physics in V are too simple. There's no need to learn how to drive too well, because if you make a mistake, you just flip your vehicle back over. They should have found a halfway point between IV and V. That being said, the flying mechanics from IV to V are even worse. You can't do anything with the helicopters except for fly. Where's the fun in that? I want to flip vehicles and kill people with my blades!

daliakiller 611 Posted July 12, 2014 163. Intertwined stories in dlc. I wish V was that way, Niko, Luis and Johnny appearing in each other stories. The whole diamond plot was awesome, as someone already stated.
..GhosT 2,801 Posted July 12, 2014 GPS voice.. oh how i loved it. Its ridiculous how many things were done wrong in GTA V. Let alone the vehicle unflipping, regenerating health, turbulences, aimbot cops, 2 wanteds for shooting an animal in the middle of nowhere with a silenced pistol. Yet you can fly into the military base, steal a f*cking military jet, lose the cops in a minute and everyone forgot about you and the missing jet. Keep it going, this list is awesome. mvdk26 1 Posted July 12, 2014 166. Blista Compact Literally the best vehicle in all of the GTA-series sans the Massacro and GTA V Cognoscenti Cabrio. I'd just love to have one of these vehicles in my GTA V Garage, no stupid reskin but just the classic Blista Compact from GTA IV

ten-a-penny 6,965 Posted July 15, 2014 The fanboyism in this thread is contagious. Somebody beats me to it. Not sure what number (don't have enough time to pass all these damn pages), so whatever. Better fanboys. FAR MUCH BETTER THAN SA'S FANBOYS. SA's fanboys makes me want to kill everybody who made GTA:SA (aside from the Houser brothers). CJ this, CJ that, GTA:V should've been GTA:SA 2.0, etc. At least IV's fanboys makes me laugh.
LightningLord 6,660 Posted July 15, 2014 Weapon physics. In GTA V you can constantly fire guns without bullets spreading. In GTA IV, constant firing results in recoil and bullets more likely to spread. So burst fire made sense.

FasterThanYou 669 Posted July 15, 2014 Arent ragdoll physics same in both games? >_> No. Best example is this one: In GTAIV if you fall from a slightly too high height for a good reception from Niko, he´ll initially jump down properly and then mid air lose control, panic and start ragdolling. In GTA V if you do the same your character becomes inert and starts ragdolling straight away, falls like a stone head first as long as the height was 1 cm. too high for a proper reception. Mr_Leone 1,579 Posted July 15, 2014 Blood is awesome in IV. Got a free aim headshot during the mission "Shadow" and blood splattered across the wall behind him. The ragdoll physics kicked in and he slumped downward s, with his head rested on the wall. His eyes OPEN as well.

Even in real life you probably wouldnt try to land on your feet if you jump off that high, because you will die anyways. I believe ragdoll are kinda changed in GTA V, or its a bit dumbed down due to hardware limitation.

CometGT 201 Posted July 16, 2014 Like many have said so far. The Blista Compact has to be, in my opinion, the best FWD car in the GTA franchise. Such that the car might be 12 year old design in the GTA universe, and even longer in the real world. But something about that car still makes me really appreciate a car of that shape and small wheelbase that makes me use that car. Sure that the Blista Compact from VC to SA, and VCS to EFLC might look outdated to the some of gamers (not all), and I understand what R* did with the Blista Compact and changed the overall look, interior in terms of engine, and exterior in terms of looking like an Alfa, but it doesn't look like the car of VC to IV. That is another reason I like IV to V. Again don't hate V, but can't enjoy driving the new generation of the car in V unlike the 3D era or IV era.
