GTAhlers Posted December 30, 2002 Share Posted December 30, 2002 I don't know if this has been brought up or not and I don't have time to look so frankly I don't give a damn but I was wondering if anyone knows where the white car with red and blue stripes on the side of it can be found. Silent_Killer Posted January 1, 2003 Share Posted January 1, 2003 Me and my friend noticed this same problem and have yet to figure out the solution...but if you look at gta3 the cop cars were supposed to...originaly...be blue and white...but it was changed i think in the gta3 manuall they were a different color too...i'll have to check to confirm that but maybe it was originaly a white police car but was later changed to white and green...thats just my theory though. My guess is probably because it didnt look like the police cars that were around in the 80's in Miami. I really have no idea. This same question was asked tonight in the general forum and it led off to a whole thing about which country is better america or canada. Pretty funny sh*t I even put my two cents in. I live in the UK so I am not entirely sure what colour NY Cop cars are but I think they are the colour that GTA3 was gonna have (Liberty City is based on New York). quantum_snake Posted January 2, 2003 Share Posted January 2, 2003 GTA3: Even thoe the Blue NYPD cars are not used anymore (they are now white with blue stripes) as a senior Rockstar New York employ said, they where changed becaue of September 11, it was the only change that was made after 11/09/02. GTA Vice City: I have no idea why the colour was changed and no-one else seems to know either. But my theory is the green cars blend in better with the regular trafic.
