I'm also thinking of writing a story DLC for GTA: Carcer City whenever ready. It's sort of a sequel to the base concept, and features a new story, new characters, side missions and vehicles, and finally added music to the radio.

It's going to be called Dust To Dust, and it is set in the Spring of 1999, 2 years after the events of the main story, with 3 chapters in total. You play as a soldier for the Perello Mob, Ash Fontana, during a time when the family moves back to the city after the decimation of The Motor Union and The Pharaohs. New radio tracks for Gold 105The Cabaret, Assembly Rock RadioThe Box, Blue Room Radio and The Fuzzz, as well as a new station that plays goa trance, Rush 93, hosted by Paul Oakenfold, will be added in this.

A 26-year old soldier for the Perellos, Ash is the adopted son of the de-facto leader of the organization, Martin "Marty" Fontana, a man who treats him condescendingly and poorly, and an unwilling successor to the Perello throne, during a time when Carcer City experiences recovery from the gang wars of yesteryear. Returning to the city from Antigone Falls in late 1998, Ash heads home and realizes that a lot has changed. The city had just experienced bankruptcy, and Federal Government, knowing of the city's plight, gives funding to the CCPD and Social Services, providing aid to them as they did to Vice City in the late-80s. Street gangs were disappearing, and organized crime as Ash knew, day by day, was becoming obsolete in the face of a new century.

They couldn't have picked a worse time to return to the city.

Fierce animosity between Marty and Ash rises due to a generational gap, though out of loyalty to the gang, and for the safety of his girlfriend, Selena, Ash chooses not to defect and leave the city, yet. Little did he know, however, that a new detective squad of the CCPD, known as The Legion, had just begun their investigation on the family as soon as they stepped foot back in Carcer City. Not only that, they face competition in the underworld from their former allies, the Warsaw Posse, led by 54-year old matriarch Catherine "Mama Cat" Rybka and her kin, also facing its own problems with the law.

Faced with the prospect of going against his stepfather as well as butting heads with the Polish and the police, a reluctant Ash juggles his priorities as a Perello soldier, while also protecting his loved ones from harm's way, as he carefully navigates his way out of the organization, and the city.

Sorry if I'm posting a lot here lately, but I've got plenty of ideas for the concepts that I have which I think might be interesting to share. As I'm working through Inner Circle and Dust To Dust, I'm also brainstorming some key gameplay ideas for Hanohano, a Hawaiian-based concept, as well.

I'm thinking of implementing RPG and strategy elements in GTA: Hanohano, which is going to explore white collar crime and the corrupt real estate market in Oahu and its surrounding isles during the bubble in the late 80s. It's really ambitious, so let me know what you think..

So the key money-making feature in Hanohano is basically kickback through development as well as laundering of Yakuza money through legitimate enterprises and property. It's similar to the businesses in Vice City and GTA: Online, but much more interactive. You start off by intimidating the owner, developer or a major investor of a property of any major commercial/residential building or industrial complex/jetty around Oahu, and  or you can hire a few goons from a street gang you're allied with to do the dirty work for you. After successfully scaring the developers, you become a major shareholder for the building in question, and here you can bid an amount of money to plan out the land and building use of these areas you control, which are completely accessible and interactive. For example, you can turn an apartment block into either a luxury hotel or a condominium for out-of-towners and drug barons, or you can convert a large single-storey space into either an automobile showroom, storage warehouse or a supermarket. That said, certain complexes, such as famous beachside malls, have a fixed use that you cannot change, though you can choose what type of business the mall in question should specialize in. As you progress through the game, more prime land is available for you to capitalize from, though the stakes are much higher. The amount of land you own, as well as the type of businesses you run from these patches of real estate also affects your reputation in town, where Tatsuro can either be seen as a tough, yet altruistic philanthropist who provides the community with jobs, or a feared renegade property kingpin who openly engages in crime. You would also need to have a consistent, good relationship with the law, and the amount of kickback or perks you give to the chief of police affects how the cops treat you when you get a wanted level or how much leeway they give you when you operate your properties.

That said, you're not the only criminal in Hawaii who is profiteering from the real estate market. Three factions in town; a large Polynesian street-surfer gang, the local Triads, and a seedy real estate company from Los Santos, all have their eyes in the market, and they can sometimes sic their men at your properties, and will attempt to wrestle for control, or or at least try to muscle in on your businesses.

There's also a secondary, albeit more relaxed major source of income that you can do which acts as a breather for all the criminal activities that Tatsuro engages in. Since Tatsuro owns an izakaya, he can renovate the bar to attract tourists and customers, as well as hire personnel and chefs either locally or from Japan. As a self-taught chef himself, Tatsuro can also concoct recipes which, depending on tasting and what ingredients are in vogue at that point of time, can be met with either positive or negative reception from the patrons, which ultimately affects the flow of people in your bar.

I've always wanted to do a more horror-oriented GTA for quite some time and I've also been feeling a bit nostalgic for the first Manhunt game.

At the risk of adding yet another Carcer City-based concept...maybe we could do Grand Theft Auto: Manhunt? It'd be a reboot of the Manhunt franchise, open-world and set in Carcer City (the HD Era's version of Chicago) and is meant to be for the horror genre what GTA is for gangster movies and RDR is for Westerns.

I'd bring back all the original gangs from the first Manhunt, along with the cut ones like the Camheads and entirely new gangs with their own motifs.

I'm wanting to have one protagonist...an amnesiac known only by the surname Cash.

Cash is a customized character who can be either male or female and as the game progresses, you learn more of their backstory and who they were before they found themselves trapped in Carcer City

It's a mix of open world sandbox and survival horror gameplay

Thinking of adding a DLC storyline for Inner Circle as well, once most of the groundwork is done. I intend to add at least 1 extra storyline to every concept I do.

I don't have a name for it yet, but I have a rough idea of what the setting, and characters, are going to be. It will be set during The Great Depression and Prohibition in 1932, more than 70 years before the events of the original game, during a time when Ellis was still under de facto Mafia rule, which was still at its high point of power before the arrest of the key men a few years later.

Covering the origins of the Inner Circle as well as the infamous massacre which takes place that year, you will take control of four sets of protagonists, exploring the events, and mass killings, which eventually lead to its inception. Thomas Ringer, a WW1 veteran who is an enforcer and assassin for the local Irish Mob in the city who makes his first physical appearance here, as well as the eventual founder of the aforementioned group, Gene Dallas and Delia Chapelle, a pair of Bonnie & Clyde-esque thieves and outlaws on the run from Liberty City, Ennio "Enny" Sagese, a prospective and vicious soldier for the powerful Ellis Crime Family, which, after getting insider info of the federal government's plan to legalize of alcohol during this time, attempts to find new avenues to make money for the gang, and finally Errol Bach, a young man whose parents were killed in a massacre instigated by a feud between the Irish and the Mafia, and is looking to settle a score with the city.

3 exclusive stations that play period-appropriate music as well as a selection of vintage cars, boats, planes ,cycles and roadsters will be present in this DLC, as well as changes to the architecture, public transport and infrastructure of the existing map.

Been working on my concept for Grand Theft Auto: Manhunt, a remake/reimagining of the very first Manhunt game but now set in the HD Universe.

Problem is that I'm wondering if I should set it in Carcer City (Chicago) or instead go for a different and smaller city to set it in? Basically, I want the game concept to still be open-world but also have a LOT more depth than the typical modern open-world title. Like the map could be smaller, but there would be more to do within it.

Maybe you can set your concept in Cottonmouth, the setting of Manhunt 2.

I've considered an HD Universe version of Cottonmouth, as well as a potential Pittsburgh equivalent.

I intend to include HD Universe renditions of all the gangs from the first Manhunt, as well as a few new gangs.

There are some changes, despite the basic structure of the story being a retelling of Manhunt 1.

For starters, this universe's version of James Earl Cash isn't a hardened death row criminal. He's an 18-year old runaway who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, helping add to the utter dread and sense of fear.

I might also include some plot elements that make references and shout-outs to urban legends, the occult, and conspiracy theories, since I'd like Manhunt to be for horror movies what GTA is to crime movies and RDR is to Westerns.

Expect heavy themes of death and resurrection, redemption and transformation to play a part in this story.

These would be the various gangs that Cash encounters, with an asterisk indicating an entirely new gang.

The Hoods: Street toughs, burglars, bank robbers, wannabe gangstas

The Skinz: Neo-Nazis, KKK, Skinheads, Rednecks, the Alt-Right

The Wardogs: Small-time mercenaries, survivalists, gun nuts, Merryweather remnants

The Undead*: Violent drug addicts and low-functioning serial killers, tend to wear zombie makeup as part of their gimmick.

The Innocentz: Satanists, Cholos, Occultists, Cartel, closely allied with The Undead

The Radicalz*: Communists, anarchists, punk culture

The Loonies*: Maniacs, weebs, schizos, cosplayers. More or less an amalgamation of the Smileys from Manhunt 1 and the Loonies from GTA 2 alongside anime fandom and gamer culture

The Wiseguys*: Italian Mafia, Guidos, along with European dilettantes and sharp-dressed gentlemen

Cerberus: Elite mercenaries, far more dangerous than Merryweather and heavily tied to the uppermost echelons of the federal government and major multi-national tech corporations.

The Project: Secret Society, "Deep State", Illuminati, a conspiracy theorist's worst nightmare. Cerberus are one of their main enforcers and Valiant Video Enterprises is one of many fronts for their operations. Mr. Nasty and possibly Lionel Starkweather are members, and there is a massive schism and shadow war within its ranks.

Of all the gangs, only the Wiseguys are not automatically hostile to Cash (although they can become hostile depending on the players' actions in the story, or become allied with him, depending on the story)

The Smileys are rebranded as the Loonies as a throwback to GTA 2, and here's the thing, the vampire concept is still very much going to be a thing.

I've been feeling nostalgic over Manhunt, and I figured rebranding Manhunt as a horror spin-off of GTA could be a good way to bring in my vampire concept as well. Possibly in a future concept thread although I'm not entirely opposed to it becoming a "story DLC" for the GTA: Manhunt concept

I'm having a bit a of a dilemma on creating the rock stations in The Inner Circle.

The original plan was to have a britpop/dancepunk station (Which I posted on the radio thread a while back) and a post-grunge/pop punk station (Think the early NFS/Burnout games, Midnight Club DUB, SR1 Gen X/Faction,PMR and The Fuzzz rolled into one) but I also want to include the post-punk revival and garage rock stuff that was popular in the early-to-mid 2000s (Like The Rock in SR1 and the 2006 Era Rock music in Driver: Parallel Lines).

I'm not a major fan of post-grunge save for a few bands, and when I mix the two genres I've mentioned with them, the playlist ends up sounding really off.

Would love some advice from you guys.

I'd definetly go with post-punk revival, but maybe without garage rock, which, in my honest opinion, wouldn't be the best option for Chicago setting. I wouldn't mix dance-punk with britpop, to be honest. I'd rather mix dance-punk with indietronica and electronic rock (think Radio Broker) and mix britpop with post-grunge and some generic-ish indie rock (think PMR). Back to post-punk revival, if I were you, I'd try to smuggle some gothic rock and maybe darker-sounding psychedelic rock to the post-punk revival station.

Oh, and since your concept is set in Chicago, how about a Polish station? Think Vladivostok FM, but playing Polish stuff instead of Belarussian/Russian/Ukrainian. You can also try to mix Polish music with Ukrainian stuff, as both Poles and Ukrainians have huge communities here in Chicago.

Thanks for the advice on the rock stations dude.

I would love to but the story I have in mind doesn't really touch on those communities, so I don't see the reason for putting such a station in. Carcer City kinda does (especially the Dust To Dust DLC which prominently features a Polish-American crime family) and even then I didn't include any ethnic music in there.

Besides, there is a large emphasis on electronic and house music in this concept (which owes to the Chicago setting) and I kinda want the energy of the radio stations to reflect on the fast and violent lifestyles of the assassins and hitmen, while also acting as a period piece for the early-to-mid 2000s, and achieving that breezy post-Y2K vibe, if you get me.

I know I am also working on a GTA IV concept (not changing the storyline but there would be new features, add-ons and missions that won't affect storyline), but my further plans are doing something related to a concept in another part of the US country.

It's is based on areas from West Virginia, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland.

Most of the main localities are: Capital City (Washington DC), Byron City (Baltimore), Henrico (Richmond), Polaris Valley (Roanoke), Suffolk (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Newport Parts) and Kanawha City (Charleston) and a few small towns in between like it's in GTA SA.

Capital and Byron are quite more business and administrative area.

Henrico, Polaris and Suffolk are likely to be residential but business as well, but it's even more quiet than its northern counterparts.

While Kanawha is more poorer and more nature.

I think it has potential due crime, political corruption, the Wire, Orange Bad Man mocking, etc...

Currently discussing with @Big Fat Paulie about protagonists, storyline, soundtrack and other things.

Every comment, suggestion of critics are welcome.

Sounds like quite a handful. Bmore richmond and dc are very huge cities so im not sure if youre gonna go district by district or just condensed versions of them

That said, i could picture a dc hardcore radio station in this

Which year is this set btw?

I've been thinking about making a concept of an HD-Era reboot of GTA2. All of the gangs and characters will still be present but expanded on, and a proper backstory will be written for Claude Speed. Some original characters will be present too, along with a few small cameos from the other games. Gameplay will be like a hybrid of GTA IV's and RDR2's features (Realistic driving, fast food/consumables, activities, random events, among other things) with some elements of the 2D and 3D games (Rampages, over the top humor, farting/burping, gang wars, respect meter). The game will take place in Anywhere City and will be ambiguously set at some point into the near future, to maintain that futuristic dystopian vibe that GTA 2 originally had. This concept is centered around my own personal theory that Anywhere City is a future version of Liberty City that got it's layout rebuilt and it's name changed. (Kinda ridiculous, right? But it sounded good in my head lol) The Zaibatsu Corporation will be the main antagonists running the city, but Claude will mostly be working for them throughout the story.

I'm not sure if I'll ever actually create this concept, but I thought I'd at least mention it here and see if it's a good idea or not.

So, I'm working on two concepts.

One is the Capital City concept that is a collaboration with @Matsukine and the other is a concept I am doing solo, which is the Manhunt reboot/horror GTA spin-off. The former is a large and detailed concept, the latter is smaller in scope initially, but will have "Story DLC" style updates that expand the map and the story, and add new elements of the horror genre.

On an unrelated note, I had an idea for the HD Universe and certain characters from the old 3D Universe. Basically, it's a headcanon of sorts where certain characters from the 3D Universe are in the HD Universe, but are completely different from their 3D Universe versions.

To be more specific, the 3D Era characters tend to replace historical figures from our own world.

Here's a list of the characters and which real-life figures they're equivalent to in the HD Universe. The historical figures are in parentheses

Donald Love (Walt Disney)

Mike Toreno (J. Edgar Hoover)

Ken Rosenberg (Roy Cohn)

Madd Dogg (Tupac Shakur)

Morgan Merryweather (Liberace)

Sage (Janis Joplin)

Konstantinos Smith (Euronymous)

Adam First (David Bowie)

Philip Michaels (Michael Jackson)

Joey Leone (James Dean)

El Burro (John Holmes)

Lionel Starkweather (Joss Whedon)

Paulie Sindacco (Elvis Presley)

Sonny Forelli (Al Capone)

Salvatore Leone (Lucky Luciano)

Juan Garcia Cortez (Manuel Noriyega)

Sergio Boccino (Bob Guccione)
