The Dedito Gae

here is a little preview of my three protags, hope you enjoy:

Luther Harris

"As a rookie, I always despised crooks, but time passed and I understood that you have to do things at their level if you want changes. I'm not one of the bad guys, I just look like one."

Character Themesong

Oe3MOHJl.png

Luther Harris is a Libertonian Cop who's life of corruption ends once his partner betrays him and pins the death of the son of notorious mafioso Vincent Carnetti on him. He will have to clean his name if he wants the bounty for his head to end.Once an IAA agent steps into the scene,he realizes that his partner was involved in deeper and shadier business than he thought. He will be sent to Capital City to find the man who double crossed him.

Wanda

"I get scared when I think about the people I work for. Then, I think about the people I've killed and I remember why I was hired in the first place."

btC6RMRl.png

Wanda is the personal assassin of national arms dealer Ivan Draginov. When a job goes out of hand and Air Force One is destroyed by mistake, the whole city goes into a lockdown. Wanda's forced vacation in Capital City soon ends when the investigation on Mr. Draginov begins and she has to sort things out for her boss from the inside.

Chuck Rhodes

"I don't know how everyone can wake up in the same house and go to the same work every f*cking day. People live in a prison they created and the sad thing is, they seem to not care."

h34snp2l.png

A major prison break has taken place, and this small time criminal has escaped from prison by the help of his partner in crime. However, his stay in Capital City will be a little longer than planned. When the city goes into a lockdown as a result of a terrorist attack, the duo will face new kinds of crooks. Chuck will have to step up in his game if he wants to stay alive.

Nice! My favorite is still Luther though. I haven't had the chance to listen to the character theme songs though, as YouTube is playing up. Judging from artwork, Wanda's story takes place in Carcer City, Chuck's story takes place in Venturas and Luther's obviously takes place in Capital City. Am I right?

they will start in Capital City and will be moving together as the story passes, they will be more involved and close as the story passes.

Edit: the background is just decorative, that doesn't mean they are from there, they are just better complemented by those locations.

In addition to updates I've mentioned before, there will be mission scripts for Carcer City. Some of these add more events to the story than what's written in the plot summary.

that's great news, did you decided to expand Carcer's storymode when you dropped your third DLC due to lack of ideas?

Damn dude. How can you juggle all of these concepts? It's taking me a ton just to figure sh*t out with Gray Valley.

Damn you John and your hero complex!!

why you offer to profread my content if you are so busy with your own stuff?

you already have an award for helping...

I can always work on mine when I find time. I'd rather help people out so they don't have to wait around for a while for something that might not ever be done.

Can anyone think of a reward for completing all of Danger Zone's heists?

An award could possibly be suits based off the outfits used in heists from the previous games. Maybe increased ammo capacity or increased armor effectiveness?

still, it seems like a lot of work, granted you will read my concept before anyone else, but your are meant to fix the multiple grammar errors and give some fluency to my broken english content, it's a lot of work.

the day i pm you the whole thread is not close, but still, the least i can do is create a radio for Carcer City (Detroit) but my laptop is acting reallly laggy.

expanding this, i have decided the format for my missions, kinda like a fake wikia:

Note (this is just a fake mission)

Fordham Cemetery Shotout

"now, there's this guy, an associate of mine, el imbecil has being ripping me off and treating me like an idiot, but i can f*cking tell, I KNOW HE'S BEEN ROBING ME I'M NOT AN IDIOTA!!

the prick goes to visit his father every month the cemetery Fordham Cemetery, go and reunite him with his father "

Castro telling Luther to kill Carlos Gomez

Luther arrives to the crackhouse, Castro seems tobe in a terrible mood, he tells you a friend of him has been screwing a lot often and needs to be cut loose, he gives you a Assault Rifle and teels Luther to kill him , Luther drives to the Fordham National Cemetery the target is visiting a dead relative, Luther kills him, then he must lose the wanted level and is Mission Complete

Mission Rewards

-$1000

-Assault Rifle unlocked in Underground shops

Mission Objectives

-Drive to Fordham Cemetery.

-Kill the target.

-lose the wanted level.

Trivia

-the preset weather for this mission is rainy, it cannot be chnged via cheats.

-¨The name of the defunct in the tombstone is "LT. Oscar Gomez"

i wanted the missions t be short, but not too short, this seems like the perfect length.

Dude, I'm a grammar Nazi. Spelling and grammar corrections are my job.

Also, I quite frankly don't like the idea of your missions. I hope your laptop works better soon so you don't do the wikia-type way. A while back when you posted a mission, I loved the dialogue. Why cut it out? Details and dialogue drive these missions. Anyone could slap together a couple graphics and simply write the objectives and a short synopsis of the missions and call it a concept. You can do so much better. Hopefully your problem is fixed soon.

thanks for the honesty, but i only posted the first mission of Chuck, his story mode will be the lighter of the three, is easy to write something like that, it's not demanding, but the Luther and Wanda dialogues were just bad.

writing every dialogue takes too much time and being honest i don't read the mission scripts in others concepts, not every person reads those, so i just gonna post a small snip of dialogue on top of the mission brief (i forgot to write it in the mission i posted above)

Dialogue can be difficult to come up with. That's part of the reason why some of my missions have been changed drastically from what they were originally. An easy way to cut down on the amount of dialogue is to not write every line, but instead write, for example, "Luther and Wanda discussed the problem at hand further." That's used in a couple of concepts here. Do what you will, however, I just want to get ideas flowing through your head.

I agree. What ClaudX talked about here is not that descriptive, but legit and to the point. Similarly, I may recommend you to write in the style of MOB's The Code of The Streets, or Akaviri's Blood And A Four Leaf Clover. In general, the dialogue is summarized, not explicitly given but it can show you an image of the conversation. Also, it's not actually written that long, like that, you can see all details, especially important details. For instance, here's the writing of a mission called Chasing The Dragon from TCOTS: http://gtaforums.com/topic/440981-gta-the-code-of-the-streets/page-8?do=findComment&comment=1059896565

i don't know, maybe i'll write dialogue for missions, if you say it's more enjoyable that way.

i remember having fun while writing the ones i didn't like, and being honest, it's not like they talk much in gta.

i just have to finish the story and then write the dialogue, i always keep coming back and changing things in past missions, so is better to write when i already have a complete storymode.

a last question, which character interests you the most of the trio i have created?

It's comes as a bit of a surprise to myself, but I like Chuck the best. He's the type of redneck that I can like, almost like a better done Trevor. I especially like the fact that he's simply trying to survive. There's a more dangerous feeling to that than the other two's stories.

I would probably say Luther. I always find the crooked side of the law interesting, and I think you've promised us a lot on Luther. :D It'll be enjoyable to read his parts, especially. Considering that Luther is some kind of a certain enigma to Alonzo Harris... sure he's most probably my favourite. I also dig for the dinamic between him and Heston. He grows more and more interesting to me.

However, if I tell who the most original one is... it's Wanda. A rough assassin girl working for an arms-dealing Russian psycho!? Hell yeah! She's probably working for the worst of the worst... that's another interesting point. I'm still a bit ambigious about playing a chick in GTA, but hey, let's see what Wanda will do. She would struck me in the head maybe. :D

Chuck. Yup, he also interested me from the first time. And, if he's really a redneck criminal like ClaudX enjoyed, I will certainly buy him. Chuck would provide the game with the comic relief a GTA game needs. I mean even if it isn't for him, his divergent social environment would do the trick.

@TheUnholy

Any updates concerning State On The Edge of Forever?

Uhh... yeah, I know I've neglected the topic since the start of the new year, but the topic is still on my mind. Once the new mission is installed, I will post it along the renewed soundtrack (I've made some changes in radio stations, and the new radio station Spirit 103.8 is on its way).

To keep it short, SOTEOF is one of the few things I enjoy while doing, so I'll keep it running as far as I can. My biggest priority is to be done with Chapter I, then the topic may take a huge break (think that like a TV show taking a season finale), so I'll have time to get things together for the second chapter of the story.

Grand Theft Auto: Smokin' Scot

The game takes place in modern Scotland, it has the same graphics and physics as GTA V but differents in gameplay, location and story.

STORY:

Frank is a MI6 agent on a mission to capture the mob boss "Mac" Ferguson. This results in a manhunt around the country. Frank meets all kinds of people and has to do all kinds of things. When Frank finally finds Mac he is under gunpoint given an ultimatum; "work for me or die". Frank starts working for Mac and starts to enjoy doing it. The feds find Frank after several bank jobs, kidnappings, terrorist attacks etc, and kills him. Credit rolls.

LOCATIONS:

Galaway (Glasgow)

Gilestone (Edinburgh)

Luantaigh (Ayr)

Allright so this is just a prototype. I'm planning to start a concept thread but I'm lazy as hell and I want help. PM me if you have any suggestions with radio, characters, story whatever. Thanks. :)

Grand Theft Auto: Double Shadows (working title)

Location:

It will be located in Northern San Andreas (Northern California), with the cities are based from cities surrounding around San Francisco Bay. I'm considered to include Nevada-based state (separated from San Andreas but still in one island with Northern San Andreas) and Las Venturas.

Story:

You might think it's similar to Sleeping Dogs, but yeah it is. It will be focused about Charles Chen, a Chinese-American undercover agent. It will have 2 story arcs in different years. The first arc will be focused around Northern San Andreas in year 2010 when he is the SFPD undercover police. The second arc will be focused around Nevada-based state in year 2016 when he is the FIB special agent. It was inspired by The Departed and Infernal Affairs mainly.

Gameplay:

It will have a well-balanced gameplay, between IV and V, to having a fun experience while still remaining the realism. As the story was based on undercover agent, yes it will have the LCPDFR-style system, but not to extend.

Content:

I'm talking about vehicles for now. Most vehicles from IV and V will be included (yes, including the boring, normal cars from IV), along with new vehicles. Some vehicles from V will be removed (i.e. Cheetah), redesigned (i.e. Turismo R's front end & windshield), and name changed (i.e. Stanier > Elegant).

It's still a rough concept sketch that gives you basic ideas and will be expanded or changed. I need your feedback, especially about inclusion of Nevada-based state. Also, pardon my grammars.

Your thought?

Keeping the conversation going, it may take a long time before I actually start. Recovery of one of my Hard Drives is taking longer than I had hoped. It has many resources on it, which would be able to assist in making my Concept DLC. :)
