Hospital Roof glitch?

Is there a known glitch spot in the hospital roof? A couple of douche bags set bounties on each other and baited the lobby last night using merryweather services and Pegasus vehicles to protect themselves until they got to the hospital roof.

 

I couldn't see them with my sniper, but I could see and shoot their parked buzzard. If I got too close they would easily RPG me or snipe me and I never got a line of sight on either of them, even tracing where the rpg came from I never saw him pop out to fire it.

 

I strafed it 5 times with the Lazer using the cannons, lit the entire roof up multiple times but never hit either of them.

 

Got on another roof top and sniped one finally while he was distracted, but he managed to snipe me dead from the street below the instant I popped my head up, even after I had changed positions, then climbed back up to the roof (is there a ladder that goes up to the top?)

 

Eventually someone else killed them both somehow and several of us began to spawn kill them (yes, they deserved it, the one spawn killed me a ton with his tank earlier).

 

So is there a glitch spot up there, or is that just like the best hang out spot due to its location and minimal access?

this exact thing happened to me in a lobby a couple hours ago
some guy with an obvious tank griefer kdr killed me when I was trying to get a frogger, no matter what I did I couldnt hit him on the hospital roof and flying over in a buzzard i saw his own buzzard on top but the guy was not in sight, and I got shot down afterwards. just went to a new session

No..its no glitch. Your sniper draw distance range has been reduced to a city block unless they are in a vehicle. Thank all of the tank griefers and lazer pilots for getting rockstar to nerf rifle draw distance. Btw they probably got their asses handed to them by me...the original hospital sniper.

 

Fog was another addition to hamper snipers...it was added when tank sniping was removed. (Just providing another example of the hampering that has been added to the art of sniping)

hmm... let me guess , if PS4 users were present . is it could be has longer Draw distance than PS3 ? while tank do not need draw distance due the round will explode if does not touch solid objects

A few weeks ago I collected a bounty (with Lazer) and killed two guys multiple times who were up there shooting a VERY low ranked guy who kept coming back at at them. I can't say if there's a wall glitch there or not, but if you're playing and have your doubts, get on your smartphone, YouTube it right then and you'll have the answer. I got killed twice while bounty hunting a guy by eastern LSC, went passive and walked up to investigate, then YouTubed it, sure enough wallglitcher. Got two blocks away and popped him with Heavy Sniper. You can do this almost anywhere provided you maintain a couple blocks distance.

No, there's a little cubbyhole up there which is probably where they were during your lazer runs. You can shoot them from the taller building next to the impound lot, but with two snipers you'd have to be pretty quick and sneaky.

 

The other option is to go off radar and parachute in.

They were well prepared and had a good plan, I'll give them that little bit of credit, but I also don't doubt that there was something sketchy about what they were doing.

It sounds like the hospital being discussed is the Central Los Santos Medical Center. I don't know if there's a glitch there, but the roof definitely provides multiple tactically advantageous positions for sniping. A good sniper will move between these positions and not pop out from one that you're watching. Also there is the spot already mentioned which provides cover and concealment from an aerial perspective.

 

If you suspect someone is glitching, just go to an apartment and watch them on the TV. Either you'll confirm they're a cheat, or you'll learn superior tactics.

There are coves on the hospisal roof to hide in. No glitch. It's a fun position to defend. Wouldn't doubt if it was my crew you were dealing with.

The Hospital roof is my go-to pissed-off-kill-randoms spot. Many places to hide, can only be reached with a vehicle - said vehicles spawn right under you so you shoot any trying to get to them. It's lovely up there. You can even shoot those getting their vehicles from the impound if you're any good.

Another perfect scenario for air strike. Place on ground level as close to the assholes as you can and BOOM! worth the money for the lulz.

They are spawn killing, griefing, cowardly idiots who can't handle a fair fight. On the ground I stomped all over mudslinger. Without his tank or his buddy to watch his back he was nothing. Ask him about how me and another player trapped him in the middle of the street with or cars, knocking him down repeatedly.

 

It takes no skill to find a cheese spot or use a tank to spawn kill. Your crew is awful.

I witnessed a guy camping on the roof above the hospital helipad honestly one of the most pathetic people I have ever witnessed in game...he would simply wait on the roof all session long and throw explosives down to people getting into choppers. I can't quite fathom why people are such damn losers they can spend an entire game session just solely trying to annoy others when they could be having so much more fun doing countless other activities.

Simple solution, go under map with a buzzard, fly up inside the building and check it out.

 

Then shoot them with the gun & laugh at them for being scrubs that got killed, inside of a glitch.

Nah, they are great. Everybody has moments. We hold our own quite well in many different senarios. And they are a load of fun. And our crew is diverrse. The entire crew can't be judges on a couple members in one session who could be doing things at the same time such as looking after their kids, homes, ect... while playing a little game. For the most part we kick ass. Not perfect, but great none the less! Quit being butt hurt because they found a fun spot. One thing I love about them is they are not just a bunch of whinners like the babies on this forum.

I didn't start out bitching or whining, I just wanted to know if there was a glitch on that roof because they were impossible to kill until they messed up and got too close to the edge. Any time they were visible, they were dead. Any time I met mudslinger on the ground, he didn't make it out alive. Any time I saw him with my scope, he lost his head. But that was rate because they were not visible a majority of the time.

But here's the thing, you know how it is in free roam - you see a red dot nearby you have to be wary. If you continually go towards the red dot and get killed then it's your own stupidity. If this happens with me I prefer to find a way to get revenge on that red dot, that's part of what makes GTA Online fun.

Ok here an example for your thick skull. One of my crew members works for himself from home, has kids, helps people with their computers. He goes on the hospital to hang out and defend in between and during phone calls. It's not too intense, but he gets to play. Doesn't mean he doesn't do other things in the game as well. You see... people are actually living different lives from eachother and actually do things differently from you. This is a sand box game. People can do what they want. He's hanging out up there to play light heartedly while he works. No glitch. Used a hellicopter to get there. Why do people feel the need to control how people play in this no rules, sandbox game? There is no point in being a whiner over people who use tactics in a video game. Our crew is quite amazing, especially when it comes down to strategy. You are lucky those are the only two you ran into. I would have loved to see this forum if you would have ran into all 6 commissioners. Everyone plays video games different. I bet you are one of the whiners when it comes to "campers" in CoD. They out smarted you, so what? You should add me on PSN so I can spawn kill you on the ground and let me guess, you were requesting death matches? That means you must be a low level. It's not a glitch but its a hard place to get someone out of. Last time someone tried it, I cargobob'ed a friend in a tank and dropped it on the roof. Good counter.

 

Edit: Now that I think of it. Its also a good idea. Gonna cargobob my own tank there, an AI in a tank or both and wait out with a bounty and see what others do.
