millionare event

I think they should make an event where you can win upto $100,000 each time u win the chalange. They should have it for limited time though but atleast this way players can stock up their bank and get expensive new stuff ..

What do u think? would it just seem to easy that way? or would it be awesome for players to have a chance to make quick cash for a limited time?

Believe it or not such a thing exists in the playlists. Problems are that finding and loading the challenges are hit and miss and poorly set such that someone with the prize money must host it and (if they don't glitch) must sacrafice a million or so (no limits are actually apparent). while someone betters the challenge for the money. Sound enough on principle, but I don't think that's what you're pitching at. No reason such a thing can't be supported by R* to the ends you propose though.

I'm not calling you a liar (not intentionally anyway) but could you stop it with the shark card crap. Yes the cards are there and R* want us to buy them, but this petty notion that a mission or two were made 'harder' (RR isn't harder, just longer) is poor justification to say R* are trying to palm us shark cards. No pay outs are being changed at the minute so the old ways are still in place to make your millions. Since many players are now rolling on level 200+ characters and $10m after their cars and mansions were bought (not all players I grant you) It is only the truly lazy gamer (not talking about the casual gamer who want's to play but can't play as much as they want, but the 'do everything for me' know it alls) that is left to whine about the cash cards. R* do know this and know they will buy them hence them being there. The more dedicated gamer won't be fooled and this is why R* know they can get away with adjusting the length and difficulty of missions (people complained about the ease of RR so R* responded). There is no grand conspiracy for cash cards as R* would have been more focused on nerfing and altering missions in more radical ways to force cards, not to mention bringing more limited opportunity content (celebratory content aside). Most content so for is permanent, so unless you are truly impatient (I'll admit most of us are) then there is plenty of time to accumulate fund.

R* are money maker, but it would take a truly ignorant and poorly managed firm to believe they can feed their fan base and customers sh*t and think that blatant scamming will wash. It won't (just ask Gerald Ratner about his prawn sandwich's). R* are approaching things in a more appropriate manner by pandering to what we want, providing appropriate content and then setting a price to encourage those who might be interested to buy now, but aren't forcing the point with buy or die set ups or super limited content for those who pay more. R* do make mistakes, (contrary to what you think you've read I think they are an abomination and shouldn't be an option, but in that they are there so it's up to you what you make of them), but things are pretty balanced (and boring) at the minute. Hackers are still a burden but people are dealing with them better than before and R* are at least now trying to deliver on some promises. Maybe not the ones they should have delivered by now promises, but the ongoing, keep them sweet ones.

Sorry for the rant, but cynicism and pessimism are two ism's that (from experience) we can do without.

my question to you would then be why are they continuously feeding us sh*t? "ok, so we understand you guys really want heists so you can make some cash, and we promised theyd be out by the end of the spring, but instead, we're going to patch more glitches and make one of the best ways you guys can make money into a smoldering pile of sh*t. this way itll take longer for you to get things and youll play longer!"

One problem with this, theres a difference between adding a challenge and simply making your game a chore to play. have you seen the changelog for coveted? its not like the patch rooftop rumble got, that was nothing, this is taking a good mission and COMPLETELY changing it into some horrible ordeal. i dont think R* realizes that breaking their own game doesnt make it any more of a challenge or by any means fun. I somewhat agree the shark cards arent the only reason theyre doing all this sh*t, but its partly that and they want people to keep playing their game. Thingis no one wants to play a game where it becomes harder and harder to do somethin as simple as buying a car, pretty much the entire point of the game. You really cant blame people for calling R* greedy and in search of more money, especially since every time youre a dollar short of something the screen pops up telling you to go spend money on their game.

I think you're being a little cynical on the feed us sh*t element as I do believe they are genuinely trying to bring the heists asap, if only to save face. I do also believe the practice of resolving glitches, contrary to their uses (basic truth is that it is a R* cock up the glitch exists, so it stands to reason they'll take time to resolve them. As to how important it is between R* and the demand of it's customers). R* will try and run a sales pitch as they are a company and a profit making organisation (Yes they will try and make more money. I just don't take them to be any worse than any other corportion for money making. I still buy things from profit makers at the end of the day). As for coveted I will agree that they kind of dropped the ball with a half assed alteration that has made the premise and play a touch too difficult for soloists. It's true they want people to keep playing their game (kind of the point really) and to continually make a game harder to enjoy simpler things is dim. R* are dropping the ball a few times more often at the minute, but at the same time it shows them trying to address the issues to make the game more playable and interesting (even if they do screw up and make things harder). As I said earlier the point is for R* is to keep the game going as this is where they will make their millions, Not cash cards. They are bound to know their irrelivence in a game no one plays. Give us more means of making money and the game will last, something R* are perfectly aware off and will be wise to address.

Ooops I Pooped

Im not saying theyre not trying to get heists out, but do they really have to rub the lack of money in our faces and make the best way of getting money useless? i wouldnt have cared if it was just the rearrangement of the cars, that've made it more fun, having to run down fighting on the way, but everything else is just ridiculous. It seems they spend more time making everything else more of a chore to do

I'm going to have to agree to disagree. I'd be a liar if I said RR was more interesting and that I had the patience for it (lost heart for it before the alteration. Same with coveted), but I don't see RR any more difficult or more than 2min longer than before. Patience is all that is needed (and a grenade or two) to speed things along. I don't see R* rubbing our noses in it any more than before as rewards haven;t been changed. Try some new approaches (especially coveted) and things can be made to work almost like before (ultimately more is given for friends and co-op). I'm going to take a cheeky swipe (please don't take offense) but why not try playing with randoms. Not the most reliable, but they're alright.:)

Not just proper events we're missing but r* sponsored tournaments too. In each categories / TDM, race etc... Givaway is a couple of 100k in cashcard for the mvp, winner but with an entry fee of 100k+...

Like the idea but screw the entry fee (a bit counter intuitive for the payout (insert R* jokes here)) Maybe expand the idea to 8-16 eventers with either racing, death matches, captures or mixed events with payouts for 4th and higher.
