03-80-00 Disc Unreadable on Xbox 360

I keep getting Unrecognized Disc error for this game and it is really annoying me, 03-80-00 is the code, when I first bought the game there was no issues at all but since like Jan/Feb it took forever to read the game, then the past week or two it takes FOREVER to read it and I'm constantly sitting here, opening and closing a disc tray for a game I paid full price for I would return it or exchange for a new one but I looked online and apparently the place where I bought it from (Tesco) doesn't accept returns once the item is unsealed, plus it was like 9 months ago when it very first came out and this problem only started like 4 months after I bought it for some odd reason yet there is no sign of bad damage to the disc.

 

I must have tried every suggestion on youtube or google under the sun, clear system cache, try it without hdd, reinstalled the 1st disc, yet it still wont read...why is this the only game that does it, every other game I have reads the disc in seconds yet this game sometimes doesn't ever read, and yet the disc is spotless, the disc shows up as an xbox game on my pc aswell, I have an original Xbox 360 that I bought in late 2008, sure it is old but the issue can't be with that as every other game is working fine, I am running out of ideas and I don't see many issues people having with these discs these days, a lot when it first came out but not lately, I am racking my brains for a solution but I am constantly ending up with no results, if you know of anything or if this is still some issue Rockstar have with compatibility then please let me know, thanks.

I have an original Xbox 360 that I bought in late 2008, sure it is old but the issue can't be with that as every other game is working fine,

 

Hello buddy, that's not always an accurate diagnosis. All consoles can develop an issue where they are fine with some disks but not others.

 

To check for certain if it is your disk or not, please try it in another console, either a friend who plays GTAV or failing that, a games store will be able to help you. If the disk loads in another console, it's good and your console needs a service. If the disk displays the same error, it's a lost cause.

Try installing a friends GTA V "play" disc on your Xbox and then put your "play" disc in and try it. After the Xbox checks that its GTA V it will play from the HDD. I had to do that because mine got scratched by the laser. It may work.

All I know is my disc shows up without hesitation on my PC, that meaning I can view the contents of the disc. I don't really have friends nearby, even the ones I do have I don't hang around with much anymore because we have all gotten to the age where it will just get awkward, I'm sure a lot of you will understand who are 18 years and over and Barefoot Tiger I just find it very very very strange that the only disc I have ever had a problem with as far as this without damage or anything to it is GTA V, I actually reinstalled the whole thing through Rockstar or might have been Microsofts 9 step solution last night for it to load up the play disc fine for a good 3 hours, then to find when I woke up it is exactly where it was previously, not working unrecognized disc etc. I know you guys can't really offer me much apart from that so I do appreciate you taking your time out where its due but I really need to dig to the bottom of this problem, I have contacted Rockstar Support aswell on their site 2 days ago but they are yet to reply to me. I really do need help from a Rockstar official on this problem because it is safe to say nobody else can help me, or at least what I have seen on the numerous google searches, youtube searches, forum searches, forum posts, twitter searches I have so far done. I did install the play disc aswell to the hard drive but believe it or not it makes no difference what so ever unless it gets recognized. I wouldn't get my console serviced due to one game.
