Actually, they reopened the Aurora theater. I passed by one day and I saw a lot of angry people. Most of them were those who have lost loved ones.

Not to lessen the death of all those innocent people but holy hell that poor business owner, apparently they had to renovate the whole place, reduce ticket and concession costs, have police stand on guard, and give all their employees firearm training Im surprised they managed to stay open at all

As others have said, Auroa. Can you imagine the uproar it would cause if the kiddies mothers were to find out there kid was reenacting that? Are there any schools in GTA? I dont think so.

yeah that makes sense... i guess thats why we dont get bombs because people would reenact suicide bombings and that why we dont have ANY planes because people would reenact 9/11, we dont have guns because people would reenact all the deadly shooting... ooh wait 0_o

Kiddies don't understand PR apparently...When was there a suicide bombing to reenact? and since buildings aren't destructible and you don't have innocent passengers in your plane, and it's a cargo plane at that, so cant really reenact 9/11. -why would any parent have the right to complain when the kids shouldn't be old enough to play the games in the FIRST PLACE? Why the hell would anybody be making a "kid friendly" version of explicit violence, language, drug and sexual content?

That notion about parents being involved is nonsense.

 

-there are plenty of parodies, imitations, impersonations, and much satire in this game, bout I doubt that they designed very much in favor of or against "reenacting theater shootings" or things like that. GTAO a lot of general criminal activity, so it's farfetched to say things like:

 

"Oh! R* gave us guns and Los Santos has a movie theater so R* wanted us to reenact aurora!"

 

That's foolishness.

 

I think people got confused, myself included. I wasn't stating why or why not the didn't allow access to the interior of the movie theater. I was merely offering a suggestion as to why, I'm not R* so I wouldn't know the real reason. Just offering a viewpoint, I, in no way think it has to do with the Aurora shooting or anything else other than limitations of the software. I was more so arguing the difference between committing a crime in GTA and reenacting a crime.

The only limitation stopping us from having more interiors is the time they had to make the map. Like I said before the game cuts down on rendering by only loading what's needed, If they had put anymore interiors we would have been asking why we cant enter every building, kind of a in for a dime in for a dollar type of thing

Because Mystery Science Theater 3000 doesn't really work without the robots, so they make you stick to first person in the theater as not to spoil the illusion.

Why couldn't we actually go inside the movie theater, instead of just going straight to a cut scene. Didn't make any sense to me. Sometimes I question the logic of r* when they do things like this.

 

Because it's a "rabbit hole" and not integral to the game at large. A far better question would be why we can't access those Fleeca Banks.

They removed hundreds of things. You need to replay the singleplayer if you cannot think of one.Replay ? Pffft, bwahahaha. You mean to say just "play" sp right.
