why are people so anti trevor? he is the best gta character so far aside from niko, obviously people dont see too far into the story

He's alright but I kind of prefer Michael. He's much more Die Hard where Trevor is more Live Free or Die Hard.

michael comes across as and asshole to me, I actually empathize with trevor

Gerald actually calls to see if you're okay, I can forgive him for sh*tty payouts. His missions are quite fun for simply shooting.

 

Lester helps me out a lot and pays well, I can take him putting a bounty on me every so often.

 

Trevor is loveable.

 

Martin disrespects you all the damn time but hey least he pays well.

 

Dom is useless but harmless.

 

Simeon is a piece of sh*t, sh*t missions minus blow up III. I'll kill him first.

I hate Lester "The Molester" calling all the time "have you captured a bounty yet? Look out though, you could be next" - Yes, for the millionth time, I have captured many bounties, and had many been collected on me. Stop f*cking calling! But he is very useful, losing heat and nearest helicopter means I couldn't kill him.

 

I'd kill Ron, Lemar, or Simeon. I hate their annoying phone calls or missions.

Lamar,

 

Not because of anything he does in Online, more because of his character in single player.

 

He is an idiot, doesn't plan thing, just comes up with stupid ideas & executes them poorly, is extremely gullible & gets us into sh*t.

 

And the worst part? He is lazy as hell, I wanted to kill him in single player when he was caught sneaking around the devon western cars & then somehow helps deliver 1 car which he was stupid enough to bring cops with him, & then expects to "get paid?" GTFO

 

Good for nothing lazy hood bum, I wanted the final option in the end game to be to kill him instead of option C, he is just a nothing character.

 

Edit: Yes Trevor is the best character in this game & one of the better characters from GTA History, Michael is alright but his family are f*cking annoying, & Frank is just a tryhard but still alright.

It looks like it boils down to three camps: pragmatism, punishment, and honor.

 

The pragmatist kills Gerald because he provides the least amount of material benefits.

 

The punisher kills Simeon because he is a pain in the ass and is begging for it.

 

The last kills Martin because he's disrespectful.

 

I can see all three, though I picked Simeon.

I would kill Lester and Martin just so nobody has missions to grind. Where would that put me?

 

As a card carrying member of the Communist party or a member of the Cash Card Conspiracy either way an enemy of freedom loving people everywhere..

Communism seemed sensible to me, I guess I'll take the former.

Once you do stuff you will not get calls anymore.
Now it's just Lester calling about vehicles and Ron calls about doing survivals for some reason, guess I haven't done enough Survivals...

Simon aside from being annoying none of his missions are enjoyable, Gerald may pay and equal amount of crap but his missions are better.

Again: Rockstar made a way to remove them.

Here is a simple list:
Martin calls about some gangs - Do a gang attack or two!
Lester calls about claiming a bounty - Kill someone with a bounty!
Gerald calls - Do a Gerald mission!
Ron calls, telling you af som a-holes messing with them - Do a survival!
Brucie calls about testosterone - Call him for it, it's worth the $500 just to make him stop calling.
etc. etc.

I rarly get calls now, but I tried out most game-modes and other stuff so...
