Gotta admit, that is pretty cool... Wish it was an option to remove the spares in LSC. Hopefully, it will be in the future.

 

 

I'm so sad I missed my tommy gun. Clearly having a wife has worked against me for far too long.

That's why you do what I did... Play while she's watching, which makes her want to play... Set her up on her own account (so she doesn't spend your money ) and eventually, buy another system, so that you can play together.

 

People who play the game tend to learn quickly what "exclusive" means, and can also relate when you say you'll sign off in 20 minutes and that 20 mins turns into an hour or four...

No she's cool, but we were out of town that weekend. I had a short window the first day but I missed it. Now I try to pay closer attention to when these things are happening.

Man i actually didn't know some of those clothes and masks were only available for a limited time. I feel bad for not buying them.

For what it's worth, it could be possible that all this content becomes available on the next generation release. Maybe?

can someone confirm if the christmas items are gone from everyone's inventory?

Unless I'm missing something, the Xmas items have been gone for some time, unless people hacked/modded them back in personally.

 

I don't think you could even keep them if you continued to wear them, like you could keep the female's V-Day hairstyle just by not changing your hair.

 

That being said, pretty sure some of the stuff from the Xmas update is now in the game permanently... 99% sure that the female "Santa jacket" was the same red and white jacket released in the business update(?)... I know because I was upset when it was removed after XMas and was pleased to see it was reintroduced in one of the updates afterward (again, think it was the business update).

 

If I had to guess, this Christmas, those things will be re-released, with the option to buy them for a limited time, like the Valentine's Day Update.

I've been hoping for neckties for women for a while, hopefully, we'll get them soon. Would also like to layer a bit better, like being able to use the Valentine's stockings with skirts, or even use the knee high boots, instead of heels. But, for the time being, seems like you could get some pretty good replicas... Not playing currently, but I'll have to experiment the next time I'm on.

Powerful, but to me it's a bit of a scatter pattern to use. I have it as it's a limited item, but I rarely use it.

Keep meaning to have another look, and there's a tie T-Shirt with the new hipster stuff, but I just really liked the look of the snowman T combined with the plaid skirt. Your right about the stockings and skirts though, and I'd like to see the knee high boots worn with Jeans/Cargo pants. Although currently loving the leggings

I miss the Santa Hat, that thing was adorable. And it also gave me great Runescape memories.

 

 

EDIT: Looks like I bought some of the Valentines' clothes (probably only what i liked) but none of the masks. I just spent 1.3 million buying EVERY possible mask and piece of clothing and, from now on, I intend to buy every new bit of clothes. That way I won't miss any again.

How good is the Tommy gun? I've tried it out in SP and it seems very powerful.

Same power as the Special Carbine and Advanced Rifle. If you pull up the weapon wheel and look at any ranged weapon (not thrown or unarmed) you can see a stats bar to the top right where it will give you the damage and other stuff.
