Guest Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Free-aim is hardcore? Free-aim should be standard, you know like in every other game ever. It's 2014, free-aim shouldn't even be an option. RichyBeats Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 If hardcore mode was introduced they would have to make the police AI use real logic and not rely on spawn points and rubber banding eg if you murder someone with a silenced weapon and nobody sees it you should get away with it. Osho Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 One way to add some challenge would be "randomization" within game world. For instance, enemy respawn points and their number. Same applies to the cops. Also, how do hardcore differ from normal depends a lot on how much player can customize, and that really makes me want some sort of an 'sp game editor' or 'play mode' to create difficulty with changes to list of options possible. chrisscorsese88 Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Let me clear this out. Hardcore mode in this case means tweaking the current game mechanics, so they make the game more difficult. No new mechanics would be added. Go check Info about RDR hardcore mode to see what I mean. I'll add payouts to the Planned section. The player should still be able to buy Golf club. Exactly what I was trying to say. 'Realism' does not make the game more difficult, just annoying. What would make the game more difficult is non-regenerating health, free-aim only, no armor, enemies do more damage, etc. Having to make a pizza and filling your car with gas is the opposite of these things...
