Cforumlbgfeva
I'm probably going to leave my computer alone and run gta v at 800x600 with 80 fps lol If I choose to build another gaming pc here's my question. How do I know if the motherboard will fit in the case?
bensons
There are measurements on wiki that tell you what sizes are standard motherboards, micro ATX's etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_form_factor

r34ld34l
Mid-Tower Case can have ATX motherboards and anything below that, but it will be quite tight, if you are console user then that doesnt matter to you. Most motherboards are ATX or smaller. So even if you have no idea what are you doing, most of time you will be fine. What really matters is socket and CPU! Hitman5
ATX Case: ATX, Micro and Mini motherboards Midtower: ATX, Micro and Mini motherboards Micro ATX: Micro and Mini motherboards Mini ITX: Mini motherboards dead sh*t simple Edited June 26, 2014 by Hitman5 Cforumlbgfeva and Killerdude
Stinky12
Large cases can fit boards made for its size and smaller Small cases can only fit of its size and smaller, but nothing larger E-ATX Case: E-ATX>ATX>Micro ATX>ITX ATX Case: ATX>MIcro ATX>ITX, no E-ATX Micro ATX Case: Micro ATX>ITX, no E-ATX, and ATX ITX Case: ITX, no E-ATX, ATX, and MIcro ATX There are also non standard form factor ones like XL-ATX, if you get a board that is XL-ATX, then you will also need a case that supports it. Most standard cases will have 7 I/O slots, XL-ATX will have 9 I/O slots. The extra slot is the help with cooling on dual slot video cards in 4-way CFX or SLI, where standard cases with 7 I/O slots will block the exhaust vents on the 4th video card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CMHnl8HKmr8CFZRj7Aoda3YAcQ&Item=N82E16811119260&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Computer+Cases-_-N82E16811119260&ef_id=U62qDwAAAEm6w0Ak:20140627172951:s Cforumlbgfeva

Yeah, your price range has to be pretty high to find any E-ATX motherboards.
