Why I Made My Character Female

I'm sorry but it's a little weird man. I don't get why any dude would want to play as a female character. There are some underlying problems to wanting to do that. It's weird

 

You remind me of Christians going against gays. This is 2014 where no one cares about that anymore, not 1814 where being so gets you stoned to death. Not saying you are, but, hey, just let people be what they want to be.

People can do whatever they want. I don't care. It's just odd how you decide to come up with some thread about why you're personal preference is a female character. I'm entitled to my own opinion and can comment freely on this. It's weird. It's like a closeted gay that everybody knows is gay but won't come out

 

The first sentence of the OP explains that.

Oh and gay people don't have to come out, that's like saying to the world "I am straight!" after you finish puberty, you shouldn't have to announce that you are that way. But that is just my opinion.

 

I have an issue with this argument.

 

1 most of the time, it's the gay person themself who is the one to proclaim they are "coming out" because they feel need to, just the same as you felt a need to make a thread about having a female character instead of just playing the game.

 

Who cares one way or the other. If you didn't care what anyone else thought, you wouldn't feel the need to explain yourself in the first place, unless you were just lookng for some one to agree with you instead of attack you. But the. Again, you more than likely alredy knew what reaction you'd get, so I'm hoping it wasn't just for attention.

 

2 homosexuality is a sin within Christianity, and it is part of the Christian doctrine to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, as well as preach it's teachings. If Christians did not go around spreading their message, that would be contrary to its own teachings.

 

To be fair, most Christians do not represent The teachings of Christianity very well, and it saddens me. No where in the old or New Testament of the bible does it teach Christians to commit hate crimes and spout hate speech against homosexuals. Any Christian who does so is not reflecting the bible. What is even more sickening is trying to justify said crimes with scriptures.

 

 

 

I'm not taking a side in this female character debate, but I just had an issue with the argument you used to explain your position. That is all.

Male protagonists are simple.They're rough, have a clear goal and blow s*** up. Female protagonists are much more complicated emotionally. You don't know how they'll react/what their motives are.

 

A male character would handle a betrayal differently than a female. It's basic psychology/gender roles. That's what makes it so much fun to play as a female in GTA. It's a classic 'wolf in sheep's clothing' scenario.

Even at that, my guess is that the OP isn't allowed to do both.

 

If you wear a dress you can't join a deathmatch. If you fight too much, your not allowed in posnboys.
