This is my own character smacking people at the bar, taken with my own camera.

Answer: You go to passive mode and find a "willing" NPC participant. You bring up the camera, and while you're in the normal camera screen you press L2. Your character will target the NPC and the camera will switch to 3rd person. It's as simple as that. You can only take pics from the back of your character while you're targeting someone, but if you walk away you can take pics from the front. If you walk out of the lock-on range the camera switches back to normal. You can punch by pressing R2 and L2 at the same time.

 

It worked for me once, haven't tried since. So I don't know if it was a fluke or if it works for everyone. Try it if you want.

This is my second character. I made it to look at what the differences were for female characters but I'm gonna level it up so I can get more cars.

What? I just stumbled upon this glitch and figured I'd tell people about it.

 

I wanted to see if someone else already knew first.

 

f*ck it, I'll tell you.

Why do so many people have a problem with others playing as the opposite gender? This is the first gta that you get to be a girl, the real question is why wouldn't you be one!

My main character is male, made to look a little like me. I wouldn't want a female character for my main one but to each his own of course.

-stand near npc
-open phone and click snapmatic

-lock on to the npc with no weapons out

-you will now be in third person mode with snapmatic camera out, you will stay like that while you are locked onto the npc and you can punch them etc

also works when aiming a throwable weapon anywhere
