Crew Rank Problem

I recently joined a new crew and made sure it was my active crew, but no matter how many missions I do or how much RP I get I am stuck at rank 3. It will not increase at all. Is there any way to fix this problem. Ive switched crews hoping it would fix it, but now its doing it to all my crews.

I've given up on crew ranks. I'd been in the same crew since it was created in October/November time, so obviously my crew rank was pretty high. I then joined another crew, but didn't make it active, and started to get crew rank updates showing me starting again. I really couldn't care less about crew ranks, but it does show how buggy the whole thing is.

 

I'd raise it with Rockstar support if you're bothered by it, but I don't expect you'll get a speedy response.

mine is the opposite... on the R* site it says im rank 83 in the crew (we started it recently)

but in the game it says im rank 200 something...

I've been permently stuck on rank 38 of my crew. Not sure why either. Asked a long while ago, but forgot about it

try leaving the crew & rejoining.

 

first crew I made has me ranked 249 with over 209 days played, & that is no where near the time I spent in that in that crew. both stats should be incredibly lower.

I need to bump this thread, because I am going through the same problem and it really irks me.

My crew rank was 754 on the day I reached rank 777. (I recorded everything that day using my PVR)

 

I joined another crew, but did not leave my main crew, switched to the new crew as active crew, played for roughly 2 weeks on the new crew.

During that two weeks, I left the new crew and rejoined over an issue.

Then I got kicked from this crew while I was on my main crew.

 

Then one day my main crew rank went from 700+ to 99.

Then I noticed it was stuck at 99.

Finally, I get someone to look at my ticket on R* Support forum.

He told me to switch active crews and switch back.

My crew rank dropped to 36 and I was able to rank it up to 37.

 

What I want to know is: if anyone has any information regarding whether it is even possible for them to restore my crew rank? For instance, have you had a crew rank issue and a R* support admin was able to restore it for you ever?

 

Loss of progress is intolerable for me, unless it occurred due to my crew activity.

Also my character picture that's in my signature, this image will not update since I've downloaded the Hipster DLC.

Unlink your PSN/XBOX account from your social club, leave it 30 minutes then re-link it, also join another crew wait again 30 minutes then re-join the crew your having issues with. Also clear your cache. If none of these steps work fill out a support ticket, best i can do for at the moment and I'm speaking from experience as this did work for me.

I highly doubt they'll ever reset you.

 

More than likely you're stuck with it.

This is pretty much what R* Support admin told me to do. Something is wrong with my social club account it seems. Thank you for trying.

crew rank is irrelivant anyways

not if you want to use the emblem on your pv. gotta be rank 10 in the crew to do that.

 

@op one day it will start to go up. it took a couple months for it to start working for me

I have this issue too. Both ways, some of my crew ranks are absurdly high with no explanation while other ranks are literally stuck at level 19(It's always 19 for some reason) and it legit NEVER goes up.

It was especially annoying to me when trying to reach rank 35 back in the day to unlock different crew smokes that you can't buy at LSC normally, like a dark blue for example.

My rank with my current active crew went from 44 to 3 after I left two other crews to free up space. I've been able to get back up to 30-something with no trouble but I've had no luck getting the game to register the rank properly after leaving and rejoining or clearing the cache even though the Social Club site has my correct rank. Not that it really matters mind.

Crew ranks are a state tbh..

 

I've found that only your first two crews (sorted by time of joining) are the only ones where you seem to rank up properly and be able to unlock things.. after that it's nigh on impossible to get things sorted..
