Gen II Stanier Police Cruiser siren/lights problem

I just stole a Gen II Stanier Police Cruiser from the police station and I wanted it in perfect condition, which it wasn't, so I quick saved and reloaded the save. It fixes the car, as usual, but when I turned on the siren it made no sound. The lights were all fine, but it made no noise and the cars didn't seem to pull over when I drove past. The cop horn (buzz) still works, when I turn it off sometimes it makes a short siren noise, and I can hear quiet police radio chatter in the car. Everything but the sirens seems to work, I tried saving it in my garage and taking it out but it still makes no noise. Any fixes for this?\

 

EDIT: Actually, cars do pull over when I turn on the siren, even though it's silent

You stumbled upon one of the new glitches. Double tapping the left stick will sometimes cut the siren noises but leave the lights on. Once that happens, you can't get the siren audio back. You'll have to get a new cop car. I think it's a pretty cool glitch personally. I enjoy driving around in my undercover cruiser and then flicking on the lights without audio and speeding off. It's unfortunate that you can't get the audio back. It is a glitch, and it'll probably get patched soon.

Ah, okay. I just stole a different one which had a bigger siren and I'll try the double tap to see if I can recreate that glitch.
