Ironic that the nerf might free the streets of tanks and leave us with the very dull and very predictable reverse chradder griefers!!

 

 

The counter to bullet proof super cars is to keep moving and shoot backwards while they give chase. If they chase you they leave themselves open

 

 

Or....just blow them up.

Jets are easy to deal with tho.. No matter how good they think they are.

The tank was only nerfed against player weapons, you still take the same damage as before from cops ramming into you and blowing up. The tank is just easier to deal with now.

It isn't that bad. I took my tank out on Friday to see how it had been nerfed and it still wrecked the lobby.

And whoever said it takes 3 rams is lying lol. (unless somehow player controlled cars deal more damge than ramming cops)

I took a sticky bomb, ran over around 10 cop cars and three tank shots to go down.

And dare I say it, tanking needs skill now?

Tanks wasn't really that big of a deal, I still don't get how people let someone own them with one.

 

I think it's funny that everyone's praising the nerf, because if I'm in that tank, you aren't landing 4 RPGs on me in a hurry. Granted, there's no defence against Lazers, but I think that's fair.

 

Forward/Reverse while sidewards is usually more than enough to put people off. Given that a tank shell is an almost instant hit, it's still a hell of a weapon when it's in the right hands.

 

 

Yeah, I agree with this notion. Now it actually requires skill and tactics to use a tank effectively. The days of just roaming where ever you wanted whenever you wanted because you were armored to the teeth are over. Tanks can still be devastating but only when in capable hands. Noobs who just drove around shelling everyone until their tanks exploded are essentially extinct.

Do you have anything that actually confirms this? Because that was what I'd hoped.

 

An increase in damage via other players only, NPC's still do the same damage as before.

If you enjoy being killed on sight pretty much any time someone else sees you, then sure, go for it.

 

Otherwise, waste of money.
