Well to be fair, there is a lot of outright bitching and moaning that I take it most people don't wanna hear, and that's the place people who do that need to be redirected to to keep from "taking up forum space with useless threads". just keep all the complaining in one place I figure lol.

 

On the other hand, it has really gotten out of control where peopl use it for a pure insult. For instance:

I didn't come here intending to piss people off. It's not my job to conveniently place my GTA related sh*t in a place where nobody would read it because people who don't have to click on a link, clicked on it and read my post and then got mad at the subject. Seriously? This is a generally stated thread. About a mix of things. Suggestions, shared experiences, questions, answers. People don't need to be a dick, butthurt over something that could've been avoided.

It doesn't take long at all to enter the interactive menu and enable passive mode. If you get killed too much, it even offers to put you in passive mode on the respawn screen. Then you go to a place they can't run you over and leave session.

Also, if your finding it hard to be able to access the pause menu in short time, you can use the quick join option via your phone to assist in teleporting your character further away from the mess than the respawn does. I also use it when I decide to play bounty victim. It's fun when somebody thinks they got you cornered and before they can do anything, *click* buh-bye.

I responded to it because I saw you received the first few pieces of advice very well. I'm ALWAYS willing to help people who want to help them selves. Not whiney hopeless people who reject every thing you tell them like "no that won't work! Rockstar just needs to fix this game!"

That's what I should've done. I didn't think about it at the time, but my phone was easier to get to so that would've behooved me in the entire situation at hand. Thank you again haha. Hoping things work out better so I don't keep looking like the bitch who just should've known better.

I'm just now realizing that descriptive titles are desired here, so I'll make that a thing from now on. Forums I've existed on in the past either don't really care about a title or have something random in place, so that's what I'm used to. Fair is fair.

 

R* needs to fix a few things, but on my end they're just completely random tweaks like hair they don't have and new music lol.

Much prefer invite only for free roaming. You can choose who you play with and in turn have a hell of a lot more fun.

It sounds like a fun afternoon. Also here's another solution for you, switch to a singleplayer character, then switch back. Takes a second, you can probably do it faster than a car can finish killing you.

I jumped over it a few, but...multiple cars existed, and once you trip up they can keep running over and over until you're done for. I'm with all that you're saying, not trying to oppose to anything; I just did exactly what you're suggesting on my own instinct.

Yeah. Avoid titling your threads with stuff like:

"Wtf is going on right now?"

All of those are just big signs saying "come, please troll me. I'd appreciate it if you did."

here's a small tip for counter troll prior exiting apt after spawning :

~ require a rifle , MG , sticky bombs , explosive heavy weapon , AP pistol / micro SMG (silenced) , sniper & assault shotgun are recommended

~ perhaps u need civilian appearance vehicle for improve ur '' off radar '' skill lester . maybe cheval surge with internal mods ( armor , engine & bulletproof tires ) should help , as eletric vehicle it's impossible for surge blown off with bullets or fire but kill battery doing it so . this extremely useful if someone who encounter tank but ineffective aganist fighter jets , also surge is inexpensive vehicle

~ if u have civilian vehicle and try approach target , make sure once on way to them . immediately activate off radar and be quickly assassinate ur target . the weakness this invisibility is only visible if u get caught ( as ur name will shown )

I sometime use my ap pistol and assault shotgun as a last resort, but they're usually to far away for it to have any effect on them
