Sometimes things hide in plain sight, like the regular buffalo. It's been so comically common for so long that no one that I have ever seen drives one. Seems uncommon to me.

Mariachi Tornado is not rare as there is a guaranteed spawn location online (Thelma & Louise Easter Egg). Anyone who wants one can go get one at a specific time at a specific location. Only reason it's rare to find people driving them is that it's a rusted out turd on wheels (with Guitars!!!!)

 

Another vote for the Mariachi Tornado

 

There may be a nightly spawn location ( is there after 1.14?) but no guarantee you'll get the car, it can easily go flying off the the cliff.

 

Fully modded this is no Turd

This....

I've noticed the more we talk about rare finds and how to get them, the more R* puts on the in-game internet for sale. If we want things to remain rare and exclusive we need to be hush hush about it. I have spent countless hours car hunting for myself and friends just to see them online for cheap as f*ck. It's bs.... or awesome... I Donno anymore.

That's my point. It's actually kinda hipsterish to only want a car cause nobody has it :p

 

Just like the cars you like and get them.

On topic, I have an Albany Primo which isn't rare as a spawn but seems pretty rare as a PV.

I believe the illusion is that those two thing are different when ultimately they don't seem to be lol.

 

If one just focuses on one's own personal taste, being unusual or different will come off naturally, if an individual is really that "different".

 

The way I see it, having a rare car in the first place isn't as much a reflection of taste as it is just being relentless or a lucky bastard :p

I'd say the Mariachi Tornado is the rarest car right now.

Not rare if you know where to look. Found one today in online but after seeing options available I blew it up.

tbh I'm a believer in the theory of inverse rarity..

 

i.e no matter how common a car is, the moment you start looking for it, it becomes as scarce as a red calf..

 

I decided I'd get myself an Emperor as a kind of undercover car for doing off radar things..

 

Lo and behold.. have I seen one in the past two days? I have I feck.. >.<


Has to be he Nemesis. I've been playing from day 1, got all the other rare cars mentioned on here from Phoenix to Hearse, but have never seen a Nemesis online. It's like a friggin' unicorn!

Phoenix has a habit of spawning after you deliver a Simeon car.. srsly..

 

I see reams of them driving back from the docks after doing that (whenever I get bothered enough to do it tbh..)

 

And anyone after the Manana (hard and open top) - go to Mirror Park, the crossroads at the petrol station/drive through etc.. just after the bridge.

 

If they don't spawn, jump into a new session, repeat and rinse.. arrived in one to see about three hardtops in front of me and a couple of open tops..

 

best place I've ever seen for them...

Benefactor Serrano (the SUV) ?

I was gonna say this yesterday but i finally found this suv it took me an hour & a half too it was a real pain in the ass.

Hearse is rarest since it'll never spawn unless another hearse is driven to the church. Besides that the benefactor serrano SUV is extremely uncommon and can't be bought online. There is also a small sporty version of the rancher XL that is as rare as cars get. Mariachi tornado isn't rare because there is a 100% guaranteed spawn point for it.

The only variants to the Rancher XL that I'm aware of is the one covered in snow:

It's discussable... cause the Hearse only spawns online if another one is driven to one of the several spots they would appear.

That means someone had to glitch it into online at the first place. So how "legit" is it at all?

 

@Mariachi Tornado:

The Easter Egg is not the only spot u can get the car in online... there is a cross-road out at Sandyshore where it spawns randomly.

Got my 2nd and 3rd one there, cause i was toooo lazy to wait for the specific day-time period for the Easter Egg.

Counting only legit in game cars, not iso mods or other SP2MP imports I would say the Roosevelt is becomming more and more rare daily as random people decide to get rid of it.

 

Also vehicles that were only available during the last patch cycle like the fenderless akuma and others will be high rarity items in the future.
