Hi all...

 

What the hell is going on with the loading times on gta online.... Following a mission it takes upwards of 5 minutes to get back into the game... often cases I've been switched to a totally different session....

 

Which is really annoying since I always go and kill the idiots that spun me out in a race....

 

Spending time in the clouds all the time is making the game soooo dull... I mean I thought I had seen the last of going to make a cup of tea while it loads, as I used to do back in the 80's!

 

Anyone else having this issue?

 

Are there any resolves??

You keep killing players at the end of a race. So you stay in the clouds while the others spawn and have time to escape your rage.

no... I kill those that spin me out on purpose for no other reason than they can't beat me in a straight race. They deserve my wrath! If you are a clean player and beat me fair and square I tip my cap and say well done.... if you are a looser that can only come close to winning by screwing all the other players up... you deserve the lead I fling at ya!

Network errors, kicked out of online into single player, constant waiting at the zoom-out map when trying to join a quick race, not having a chance to choose your car because of the lag or whatever. I've had a guts-full of the constant problems. Never had any problems until R* released this new, broken, update patch.

Network errors, kicked out of online into single player, constant waiting at the zoom-out map when trying to join a quick race, not having a chance to choose your car because of the lag or whatever. I wonder if they have reduced the number of available servers??

 

I mean I have a rock solid 10mb connection so I know it's not my side that's the issue and it's encouraging to know others are having the same issue.

 

What I want to know is why do I have to leave the session I was in when going into a race... why is my place in that session kept open so when I finish I can return to the same session I was in before..... It used to work this way as far as I could tell.

Stop knocking people off the road, then you find that you will not be floating in the clouds.

Instead you will be teleported at high speed to a silly random location, usually in the middle of a gang fight.

I wish this was true ... then perhaps all those freaking idiots that think it's fun to wreck the best racers chances would think twice. Unfortunately this is not the reason for the sky time....

 

It's all to do with the fact that when you do a mission or a race it drops your session and at the end of the race looks for a new open session but struggles to find one... hence the stupid wait for several minutes.

It's unbearable. Yesterday and today have been the worst it's ever been for me. I started timing the waits. Today I waited 11:24 after a deathmatch to get into a lobby.
