Basicallly I'm new to GTA as...I've only watched family members play beforehand and never desired to buy one myself until someone got me this game for Christmas. I am now hooked. I'm unfamiliar with other radio stations aside from gaining suggestions to ones from previous games, then I go search for the songs. The point of this was to just find interesting music and broaden some sort of horizons on the whole music aspect of the game. Jesus christ.

 

I never really understood, despite not knowing of previous stations, how people dislike EVERY aspect of GTA V's radio, because some of the songs are great and not something you'd just go listen to on the radio irl. I believe anything that offers a vast arrangement of music is valid and something I can pick around and choose something off of to suit my taste palate. People are generally so opposed to new sh*t it's odd, but I mean. To each their own.

They're only a fraction of the great radio stations, I could list many more but none of the radio stations in GTAV compare to any of these. Don't get me wrong GTAV has some great songs but overall they are the worst Radio stations in GTA, that's pretty much universally agreed upon by anyone who has played any other GTA

None. Most of them suck. Especially WCTR, Blue Ark FM, and East Los FM. I don't think anybody ever listens to those. I think R* should replace them with Integrity 2.0, Liberty City Rock Radio, and Vice City Fm from GTA IV Episodes. All of those Radio Stations were awesome! Especially Integrity 2.0 with Lazlow. That one was hilarious!

Radio I understand, but we can all agree this score is the greatest when it plays in-game.

I agree, except that this track is the best of the score. Bar none.

 

 

 

 

 

 

There aren't any stations that I can switch to and leave it there like previous GTA's, but my favorite out of em would have to be West Coast Classics.

Although I mostly listen to Los Santos Rock Radio, I would agree that GTA V and GTA Online have the worst soundtrack of any GTA game. They have lost their touch, and taste, in excellent music.

I'm surprised you don't notice it's R*'s social commentary on how music has gone since the 80's & 90's...

But a lot of the music is from the 80s and 90s

I liked Lowdown, it had several songs I knew and I wished it had more. Los Santos Rock Radio was ok too, but all the radio stations have gotten very repettitve and so I am listening to my internet radio.

 

Tired of trying to tune to Los Santos Rock Radio and only getting I Don't Care Anymore or I Can't Wait.

It was always Radio Mirror Park, but today I'm tired of it and listen to West Coast Classics and East Los FM. "Autos, Moda Y Rock 'n Roll" and others are actually nice songs. Lol

 

Blue Ark is still unbearable to me and Channel X even more.

Play Watch Dogs and then come back to GTA 5. You're going to love the songs.

I personally enjoy Space 103.2, The Lowdown 91.1, and Channel X. Space and Lowdown are both great stations to cruise to and so is Los Santos Rock Radion. Channel X because I personally enjoy that type of music

If I have to stick with GTA V radios, probably Radio Mirror Park and Los Santos Rock Radio. Blaine County Radio if I'm in range too, as I like 'Beyond Insemination' haha.

 

Past that, V Rock, Flash FM (hell basically Vice City) and K-DST.

It was Channel X, as the punk music matched best my enthusiasm for metal at the time.

 

Now though, it's split between Vinewood Boulevard Radio (how the f*ck did I miss this station) and Worldwide, which has some real gems.
