I like that they produce their own soundtracks, but they need to come in volumes and have some sort of general forum for new things to be implemented to different stations every week so people can chill out and be content. I'm too lazy and I don't want to take up space on my consoles so I never bother with adding music to it. And they should have a live station where you can make requests and a host is actually on air.

A for effort in this list. However, they would never add Lana Del Ray. I think her career ended before it started. At least in the mainstream. Also, CA and JT? Not opposed, but I highly doubt ever seeing these 2 in GTA. CA is also 15 years past her peak...

 

 

Note: Nicki Minaj is f*cking terrible. Not even remotely close to anything I would called good. I don't even think she knows wtf she is singing/talking/stuttering about...

Wasn't a mod, it was a core feature of the PC version.

I foresee a custom radio station in the next gen versions, unless it'll still be a PC specific feature like it has been since IV.

I only listen to Los Santos Rock Radio, and I think some CCR should be added. I also want Sultans of Swing, and definately LIFE IN THE FAST LANE

I know this will never happen, but I'd love to see actual internet radio so we can chose real-life radio stations in our cars. Sure, there would be issues with whether your passengers hear the same thing and semantics to discuss, but I'd really like that.

I'm almost certain, without researching it seriously, that it boils down to licensing. From what I understand, each artist gets a percentage based on number of games sold. I'm not sure how Rockstar does it because that would be a lot of fingers in the pie, so-to-speak. ASCAP sort of breaks it down here:
